Crosstab from sql dump
Hello all,,
Im looking for a simple function to produce a crosstab from a dumped
sql query result. Its very hard to produce crosstabs with most
databases (Access being the exception), so with the vast array of R
packages, Im sure this has to have already been implemented somewhere.
Examples are always good:
Take a csv dump like
name code
user1 100
user2 100
user1 200
user2 210
user1 300
user2

Restrict users with their IPs
Hi All!
On my samba server I`ve got some stuff with require authorization. I create
needed users for that. These users belong to the same group - private. But
now I want to restrict them even more - I want to bind them to particular
IPs. Eg user1 will be able to connect to private share only from user1_IP,
user2 from user2_IP. How can I do this with samba ?
Here is my private share

Polycom 500, won't ring??
Hi, I have was testing some of the different ring types with my polycom
500, and the ALERT_INFO settings. Now when my phone receives a call it
won't ring. All the other phones ring fine, and my phone wasn't the only
one I rebooted with the changed sip.conf and impd.conf. I have reverted
back to a standard sip.conf and impd.conf and I still can not get my
phone to ring for any incoming

Using split and sapply to return entire lines
Hello,
I have a data manipulation problem that I can easily resolve by using
perl or python to pre-process the data, but I would prefer to do it
directly in R.
Given, for example:
month length ratio monthly1 monthly2

2 Jan 45 0.2 9 6
3 Jan 16 0.3 9 6
4 Feb 14 0.2 1 9
