I am using 'disable spoolss = yes' option which means the drivers are on installed on client side and are not downloaded from the server. So all these printers (on Samba) act as Local printers on NT machines. As I am

XO Callerid NAME
XO CAN supply callerid NAME on a NI2 PRI connection. We have three of them and they work great. Its takes a little doing to get to someone at XO that knows what they are doing but XO does have some VERY good tech support people that know how to get things done. It just takes a bit of work to find them. Outgoing CNAM is a different beast however. They can't take it via IE. You need to get

how to get the source for installed RPM (CUPS)
I would like to change a few things in CUPS, but I would prefer to use the source for the version of CUPS that I already have installed using yum. Mostly because I'm quite happy with the way it works except a few details. Is there a way to get the source using yum or should I go to http://www.cups.org/software.php and get it from there ? The version I installed with yum is 1.1.22 and on

CUPS username case wrong from Windows 98 client
I have a problem getting Windows 98 clients printing to CUPS printers where I have the printer access allowed/denied by username. It appears that samba is passing the username in uppercase to CUPS as the owner of the printjob and then CUPS does not recognise that username and rejects the job. It all works under Windows NT/XP. I am running samba 3.0.20 and cups 1.1.23. The smb.conf file is below

samba printing with cups driver and cups with non PS printers
Hello, I just finished to read chapter 22 of the samba howto. This chapter explains very well how printing from a win client via samba and cups work.
