problem with postgreSQL connect=
Hello I'm using dovecot with virtual accounts stored in a postgreSQL db. I use in the dovecot.conf: auth_userdb = pgsql /usr/local/etc/dovecot-pgsql-user.conf (and same for pass). In the file dovecot-pgsql-user.conf, I use: connect = host=127.0.0.1 dbname=vmail user=lecteur password=lire user_query = SELECT '/var/spool/vhosts/'||nom_domaine||'/'||nom_boite AS mail,5000 AS

Pattern matching - how to ignore numbers after 10 digits
All: Yesterday I discovered something interesting. I dialed 1800ANCESTRY from the asterisk system I am testing and got the number doesn't exist message. I then dialed the same number from our old system and it went through. I realized that the "Y" in ancestry made the number too long, and went back to my dialplan. How do I ignore numbers that are too long? Obviously,

What I do now is to use the htpasswd program and then I

You can also download MS Visual C++ Toolkit 2003 - contains the VC++ 7.1 compiler/linker as well as all the standard libraries and headers. No gui, no debugger though:

Uploading CSV file into R
Hi, I'm trying to upload two CSV files into R, and I'm having some trouble. I've used the instructions I've found on the Web, but they haven't helped so far. I'm worried this could be because I'm using a Mac. The two data sets are here: http://data.un.org/Data.aspx?d=WDI&f=Indicator_Code%3aNY.GNP.PCAP.PP.CD http://data.un.org/Data.aspx?d=UNODC&f=tableCode%3a1

does winbind on a samba 3.0.14 domain member server work against a samba 2.2.7 pdc ? this is the first time i've set up winbind, so i don't know if there's a version issue or just a generic config issue. after setting winbind up (including adding to the domain), i attempt to access the domain member server from a win2k client, which fails with "the network request is not

Problems when upgrading to samba 3.0.14
Hi all, We had a Debian sarge box with samba version 3.0.7 and worked ok. When we upgraded to the new stable version in Debian (3.0.14a) we noticed that the samba daemon (smbd) did'nt bind to its port (139) when running in daemon mode. When running with inetd, it binds de port but don't "pass" the connection to the samba demon... There is any big change

3.0.14 to 3.0.23c Invalid SID
Trying to upgrade from 3.0.14a to 3.0.23c. So far, things seem to be working, but the following entries appear in the smbd error log. The test machine is a domain client (server is still 3.0.14). The sids listed are exactly as they appear in the ldap tables. What makes them invalid? Anyone know. [2006/10/19 11:34:10, 1] passdb/pdb_interface.c:pdb_default_uid_to_rid(1227) Could not peek rid

Codepage conversion between 2.2.8 and 3.0.14 - what's 2.2.8 default charset on disk?
I have to upgrade a 2.2.8a (Debian) installation to 3.0.14a (Debian too). I have quite everything clear but I am afraid I will get into trouble with the filename encoding on disk. The current samba installation has no explicit codepage declared for the file system, and running "testparm" gives only these settings (which are default) for codepages and charsets:

Accounts disabled moving from v 3.00 3.0.14
Hello, 1. Just having a problem when moving from version 3.0.0 RedHat8 to FDC4 v 3.0.14. I realize there are some attributes new to the schema in 3.0.14 but when a user attempts to login, a "D" is placed in the account flags. How can I get around this without having to run smbpasswd -e? I have many users in my LDAP directory and don't want to enable accounts one at a time. What
