Hi, I'm new to R. I'm using a Mac OS X 10.5 and R 2.7.0. I'm trying to change the font family for a plot in a quartz device. Simply passing the desired font by using the family argument works with other devices, but not with quartz. Am I missing anything? I've already checked the docs for quartz and quartzFonts, but didn't find a solution. Any help much appreciated.

Then, clients (I am using Kmail) report there are unread message, when all of them are in Trash. I've got a Centos 4 box at work, where I noticed a pile of old kernels lying around and no longer needed. I did "rpm -qa | grep -y kernel > list" then edited the list to remove from it the newer kernels, then "yum remove `cat list`". Yum has come up with a list of 71 packages it wants to remove, even though there were only 33 kernel-related RPMs in the list. this

Hi all, Is there any possibility to ask dovecot to write nothing to disk, something like a "read only" state, without shutting it down? I have set up a ZFS+postfix+dovecot mail server, and I need both postfix (postsuper -h ALL) and dovecot (??) to stop modifying the disk to create the snapshot to be saved. When using windows NT and Netware there are ways of limiting the logins of users such as only allowing them on between 9am - 5pm and limiting maximum concurrent connection to one. Is there a way of enforcing these restrictions through samba or similar? Many thanks Gareth Norman

Hello, I have a time-series of standards measured for Refractive index. They are daily standards, however, I didn't run one everyday so some days have no data. I can plot the values, but the x-axis does not represent the correct time series (i.e. it's just an evenly spaced 1,2,3 type axis). I want to plot the points with some form of representitive date line on the x-axis. I don't
