Annoteting graphs using text
Dear All, I am new to R and am trying to learn how to create functions using R. Below is code which calculates Lin's Concordance Coefficient. After I calculate the coefficient I want to create a scatter plot which annotates the coefficient along with preceding text onto the plot. The below code doesn't seem to work. If I use only the object 'lincc' on the text command it works

novice - samba3+; suse linuxpro9.1
hi, I thought it would be easy and over quickly - it has been anything but... I decided to test and use Samba 3.+ on my Suse linux pro 9.1 lan but cannot get it to work and need some help/guidance. I have two essentially identical linux computers [east and west] and I have both of them as both server AND client. At a later date, after this `simple' lan works, I plan to add a ms portable

Weird Okular/KDE error - thousand procs spawned
Hello all: I'm trying to troubleshoot a strange and repeatable error and not sure where to log the bug report. I subscribe to Linux Journal and download their PDF. The DLJ230.pdf opens in the Okular PDF reader from Konqueror. If I scroll down to the ad for some colo site (www.ovh.com) and click the right side of the page, I immediately start getting hundreds of alerts on the desktop. These

Unusual System State
I have seen *some* similar activity in different machines through the years and it *always* turns out to be a hardware issue. If this machine is particularly old, I would be suspicious of that. caller id problem
I'm having a weird problem with CallerIDs and I can't tell if it is a problem with Asterisk, the telco, or the VOIP provider I'm using. Basically, I am using Asterisk as a proxy for my cell phone. People call in and the call gets forwarded to my personal number. The feature on my phone allows for unlimited phone calls from one number, any time, for $7/month, so I'm saving a
