Fwd: Re: Problem in fetching usernames of a group
Thanks Sir, just inquisitive, because in a similar PDC configured on NT, I can have groupnames similar to usernames. Also because this is done through a script from web I was getting problems... however now I know it shouldnt be done so I will have to validate that, but a similar validation or some error string displayed from the command itself would be usefull.. regards On Wednesday 25 May 2005

Nested groups when using RFC2307
Hi, Just noticed, I am unable to use nested groups when relying on RFC2307 for filesystem permissions, am I wright? What have I missed? (Samba 4.12 on Buster, 2008R2 domain level) Any migration path to stop using RFC2307 and go to pure idmap without loosing all permissions on a 6T filesystem? Is that a solution? I am trying to get a program which accesses the serial port to receive data from a 3 degree of freedom tracking device to work under linux. The GUI loads just fine, but then I get an error from the program (not WINE) that

I'm having trouble with tinc on Android 10, (it's not a problem within the app, I have already discussed this over with pacien). All subnets and routes are properly configured. RPMS falling back to /usr/kerberos/bin/rsh
The 2.1.0p2 and 2.1.0p3 RPMS try to fall back to the r* commands in /usr/kerberos/bin. I'm not sure under which distribution that path is valid, but it just gives an error on my machines (RedHat 6.1 and 6.2). It's no big deal to tweak the SRPM and build my own packages, but it does make me wonder if the fallback path should be configurable. -- Jason L Tibbitts III - tibbs at uh.edu -

Dell PowerEdge 860, Sangoma A108
Hello everyone, I'm considering getting me a quad-core Dell PowerEdge 860 to run Asterisk. Anyone else using this model? Any tales of woe and sorrow I should know about? Then, in a couple of weeks, I'm thinking of getting a Sangoma A108 and giving that a try. Same question with that one - any quirks I should be aware of?
