Not able to see public shares on W2k from Linux
Hi all,
I work with linux and SUSE 8.1 in a W2K PDC environment. I successfully
configured Samba to be able to connect from the Wk2 computers to
linux and vice versa with one exception:
I'm not able to see the public shares of the window computers from linux
(NetShareEnum failed, NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED)
unless I provide a username and password. From Windows to Windows it's no
problem

Info on NetShareEnum RAP throwing "User has insufficient privilege"
I am looking for more info on the subject, since I get this response
from a Windows/XP client to a SMBCLIENT command but do not know what
checkings are held in the client (Windows/XP) in order to correct them.
Any suggestion is welcome

Samba 3.0.9/10, missing 'net rap printq list' on HP-UX?
I have only this platform to try it on, but observe the following
inconsistencies:
(from the manpage for 'net'):
RAP PRINTQ
RAP PRINTQ LIST QUEUE_NAME
Lists the specified print queue and print jobs on the server. If the
QUEUE_NAME is omitted, all queues are listed.
...OK, so:
[novosirj@njmsa ~]> /products/samba/bin/net rap printq list ljndemo

[LLVMdev] LLVM Coverage GCDA Flush API
Ah, my mistake. So this already works. I guess that bug is out of date,
since this feature works already.

[LLVMdev] LLVM Coverage GCDA Flush API
Why does __gcov_flush only flush the current compilation unit? For gcc
__gcov_flush flushes all of the loaded files.
Is there a way to have __gcov_flush flush everything?

[LLVMdev] LLVM Coverage GCDA Flush API
Yikes! It only flushes the counts for the current compilation unit? That sounds like a terrible bug. Can you file a bugzilla report, please?

multihost master.passwd sync
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Just wondered if anyone had any suggestions about syncing up master.passwd
files between multiple machines that didn't involve allowing root login
remotely? The users need to be able to log in remotely and own files on the
different machines.

NetShareEnum counterpart
Hello,
I am searching for a Samba counterpart of the Windows API function
NetShareEnum
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb525387%28VS.85%29.aspx - a
function that lists the smb resources of a given server.
It googled quite a lot and had a quick look on the libsmbclient header
but did not find anything that helped.
`smbclient -L' does what I look for amongst other things ... I am

NetShareEnum bug on Win 2003 Server
Hi all!
I believe there is a bug regarding NetShareEnum command when run
against a Win 2003 server.
When run I only get back one share and then I get Segmentation fault.
Using NetShareGetInfo 'sharename' works perfectly and also NET LIST
SHARE.
Any suggestions?
Samba version is 3.21.rc-1 running on a FC 4 machine.

net rap share vs. net share
Hi All, I have been using the 'net rap share' command to enumerate Windows
shares and CIFS shares hosted on Filers. I have realized though in some
cases that using this command does not show all shares as does using 'net
share'. I have looked at the shares hosted on this particular windows box
and cannot find any difference between the ones that are enumerated using
'net rap

Nullsoft Vorbis Decoder v.1.11a Bug Report

While waiting for the encoder RC1, I will report some minor problems
I experienced with Peter's Winamp decoder.
First, I am using Nullsoft Vorbis Decoder v.1.11a with Winamp v.2.76

Weird Samba upload performance on Gigabit network
Here's a weird one that may have nothing to do with Samba and more to
do with network frame sizes.
I have recently upgraded the network infrastructure to support
gigabit speeds.
- OSX Tiger to OSX Tiger file transfers operate at gigabit speeds.
- Samba 3.0.23C (Suse 10) to OSX Tiger file transfers operate at
gigabit speeds.
- BUT OSX Tiger to Samba 3.0.23C (Suse 10) file transfers

[LLVMdev] LLVM Coverage GCDA Flush API
Hi,
I ran into the bug/feature request that you cannot flush gcov buffers while
the app is running. They are only called when you exit the program, since
the flush functions are registered with atexit(). This is the bug report:
http://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=12144
I have what I think is a basic implementation of the `__gcov_flush` call,
although I called this version `__llvm_gcov_flush`.

Dynamic Linear Models for Times Series - Implemented?
Hi,
I was wondering whether a package that can perform dynamic linear models on
times series data was available for R?
Many Thanks,
