Problem with OpenAndX
Hi, I am enhancing the Samba Server on our product (VxWorks on the box) to support Long Name. So I started implementing the dialect "LM1.2X002" (first dialect that supports Long Name, the current dialect that we support are PC Network Program). I have implemented the Negotiation, Tree Connect AndX, Open AndX and Transaction2 (FIND_FIRST2) commands etc. I am able to open the shared

Hello, I have my samba share running and I can access everything just fine from my windows XP work station. However I have a problem with macromedia homesite. I can see but not open the share because homesite thinks I do not have access. I have captured the network traffic with a sniffer and it seems the path is a problem.. Here is a snip of my network traffic where 192.168.0.9 is my linux

problems running homesite
Hi there, I have just installed wine (release 20010305) and it looks to work good. I can run notepad without trouble, winecheck.pl has one bad and one critical result: 023. Checking device needed for DGA (option "UseDGA"): /dev/BAD (/dev/mem is not writable for you). - ADVICE: Use chmod as root to fix it ("man chmod"). 025. Checking availability of windows registry

Maildir structure question
Hello, About the INBOX location when using maildir, in the wiki, http://wiki.dovecot.org/MailboxFormat/Maildir, I can read: " Directory Structure ~/Maildir/new, ~/Maildir/cur and ~/Maildir/tmp directories contain the messages for INBOX. The tmp directory is used during delivery, new messages arrive in new and read shall be moved to cur by the clients. " But in my Maildir, I see

Samba 3 problems with file read/writes
I just updated my web server box, running Debian testing, to samba v3, and am having some problems with a share. Can anyone advise me on this? I have a share called "allsrvr" which is defined in my smb.conf file as follows. Please note that security isn't an issue here. The server is connected to my home system via a VPN and all smb/cifs ports are closed to the world at the

Dreamweaver 4 & Homesite 4.5
Hi, I'm new to Wine and I use Mandrake 7.2 distro with the default Wine. I setup up wine with WineSetupTK it works with some softwares but not with Dreamweaver and Homesite. Could anyone send or post in the newsgroup his/her wine.conf file (to have a look at it)? Dreamweaver was requiring 2 dlls that I downloaded and installed in my /winnt/system folder. I don't see any dll related

getting closer to run homesite4.5
Thanks to Dimitry's tip I'm getting closer to run Allair's Homesite4.5 but I reached a point where I don't know how to debug the remaining problem(s). I used to get a runtime error, but with getting native stdole32.tlb this doesn't appear any more. Now I have 2 scenarios: 1.) starting with native comctl32.dll (and commctrl.dll) - the small centeres window appears (with

Problems using rsyncd.conf
I am having a lot of troubles setting up an rsync daemon that works properly. I've inspected the Faq-o-matic and as much of the past archives as I can stand, but I can't seem to get any of the solutions suggested there to work. I'm having two problems. First, I can't get password authentication to work. I have ensured that the password file is only readable by root, and that

[LLVMdev] precondition suggestion to LLVM
Hi Niko, Do you mean branch prediction, i.e. __builtin_expect [1]? Many compilers support it, I think clang (LLVM's C/C++ frontend) is among them. - D. [LLVMdev] (no subject)
I tried it on a simple file test.c (as you did) but actually clang does not show me any output. In addition I tried to set the CFLAGS specifying the -mllvm -time-passes options. However I still have anything about the time passes informations in the output and I also get this warning during the build with make:clang: warning: argument unused during compilation: '-mllvm -time-passes'Maybe

ext3 with quota under heavy load.
Hello list, I have a problem with an NFS server for my network. It has ran kernels 2.4.18-ac4 - 2.4.21-ac1, all with problems. The -ac patches are used to provide the new style quota support. The system seems to have gotten even less stable with the new kernel versions. This morning around 5 am, I got a page the system was unresponding to NFS requests. I ssh'd in, and found the loadavg

[LLVMdev] precondition suggestion to LLVM
Thank you, it was what I really was searching for :) However, I don't know if I well understood. I've find this link in the second link which seemed what i was looking for: http://nondot.org/sabre/LLVMNotes/BuiltinUnreachable.txt .If I put around the code block (inside my function with precondition (x>0 && y>0)) a contruct like that that use __builtin_unreachable: int foo(int

Strange problem with 3.0.4
Dear list, I recently updated my servers from 3.0.2 to 3.0.4. After that upgrade I discover a strange problem: I can mount/browse/whatever shares with Windows Explorer, MSIE, Firefox ... but I cannot use a mounted share with Macromedia Homesite. I can't see anything in my logs, I allways get a "Connection refused. Maybe you are not authorized to use this share."-message. I

When using deliver, it complains in the logs: Dec 2 16:47:13 petole deliver(niko): write() failed with mbox file /home/niko/mail/INBOX: File too large I do not see anything related in the configuration. And ulimit shows nothing special: $ ulimit -a core file size (blocks, -c) 0 data seg size (kbytes, -d)

Hi guys I downloaded and compiled the latest Wine verson and I got the following error msg from the Windoes Installer. The installer wizard fired up properly, asked a few questions and started to copy the application out when it returned an internal error 2352. Below is from the msievent.log. My .wine/config is the standard conf except for minor adjustment to /mnt/floppy and /mnt/cdrom.
