Findsmb manual page now lies because the output of smbclient -L changed?
In 2.2.8a days, findsmb would print the OS and Server version of the
machines it found, like this:

Could you please advise whether or not "findsmb" should work on a WindowsXP
machine?.

Which list for general help?
Hello, I am having enormous difficulty in getting samba to work correctly on the

I have never had any trouble with samba when I used eth0...

findsmb on Linux different than on SGI?
We're running an older version of Samba on an Irix machine, and just
got 2.0.2 working (finally!) on our Intel/Linux box. The odd thing,
is that findsmb gives different results on the two systms. On Irix
it lists the NetBIOS names with OS descriptions, but on Linux it lists the
IP name and no OS description. I went through it line by line and found the
first difference at:

samba-2.2.5 -- a minor "make install" problem and 2 suggestions
Hi,
I would like to ask you to consider the attached patch for inclusion into
the next samba release. The patch addresses the following three points:
1. 'make install' with VPATH fails at one point
( $(srcdir)/script/findsmb vs. script/findsmb )
2. support for 'make DESTDIR=<somewhere> install' (e.g. to build a binary
package)
3. support for 'configure

Trouble with install, still
I've tried building it on a server that I know has pretty much every
library possible for a program to need, but I'm still not getting a
good samba install.
I'm on white-dwarf linux (kernel 2.4.25), gcc 3.3.2, Samba 3.0.2a
White-dwarf is home-grown, very much like slackware.
When I configure and make and make install, I don't get any errors, but

Hello,
I am running solaris 7 on a sparcstation 5. We want to test out the pdc
capablities on this test machine before we deploy this on our network. I
installed gcc version 3.2.2. untared the source and did
./configure ; make
everything seemed to go fine, but the source dir is over a gig in size
now. I did "make install", and ran out of disk space. this is what it was

Dirst, others have asked but I haven?t seen an answer, do you have any reason to think Outlook supports IMAP idle at all? I mean, I know outlook.com doesn?t support it, so maybe it just doesn?t work?
Secondly, assuming Outlook does support IMAP idle, if you setup Dovecot to

Well your confs are almost mine except for
director_ping_idle_timeout = 30 secs
submission_relay_max_idle_time = 29 mins
but i think they're not imap related (i may be wrong)
any other hint why is this happening?
I was used to the old IMAP server than dovecot, where emails appear in the
inbox, no matter if it was selected for 15m or the last 4 hours
Any ideia please let me

Help with IMAP IDLE
Well,
I've been doing some research, and it seems that msoutlook 2016 and 2019
doesn't quite have imap idle support.
The odd part, is that when i had DBMail, it was IDLE'ing (i swear),
Would dbmail send something different that make it work? It was an old
version of dbmail, 2.3.7 i believe, from about 2012 or so.
And no, it wasn't the outlook options "send/receive", i

[LLVMdev] Re : ANN: libclc (OpenCL C library implementation)
Hello,
I am the developer of Clover, and so much activity about OpenCL these days is really exciting. Here is my point of view, mainly on Clover and how the projects could use each other.
Clover is made in a way that allow a certain level of modularity. Although POCL would be very difficult to merge into Clover (or Clover into POCL), as these two projects are nearly exactly doing the same things

[PATCH mesa] clover: Fix pipe_grid_info.indirect not being initialized
After pipe_grid_info.indirect was introduced, clover was not modified
to set it causing it to pass uninitialized memory for it to launch_grid.
This commit fixes this by zero-ing the entire pipe_grid_info struct when
declaring it, to avoid similar problems popping-up in the future.

Code Help
I am trying to analyse some data and was given R code to do this with but
there seem to be errors in the code. My level of knowledge is improving but
still limited.
The details are;
Data on clover lines; Lines.txt attached. Comma seperations
Code:
options(digits=3)
clover <- read.table("Lines.txt",header=T,sep=",")
vnames <- names(clover);nv <- length(vnames)
