Fabian,
Fast explains.
On the NT server work BrightStore with version r9, more highly does not go
because of NT.
On the REHL4 side works (worked) BrightStore Linux Client r11.5. Smaller
version does not work goes because of RHEL4.
BrightStore servers r9 and Linux Client r11.5 are not compatible

Samba vs. Macintosh
Hello,
do you know about that kind of problem:
I've tried to connect an apple macintosh os x (10.2.4) to my linux
samba-server (take a look to my smb.conf in the attachement),
but i've only got a connection to my homedirectory. If I tried to connect to
my other shares, i got only the error message 5023.
Do you may know that problem????
It would be very nice to here from you..

Couldn't find group @XXXX although group exists 3.01014
Hi List,
Have here an interesting problem which i do not understand.
OS = RHEL 4 Clone
Samba = 3.01014
Although there are the groups, Samba announces the following error message.
Couldn't find group @XXXX
That happens with all later generated groups.
Are there here possibly problems with GID?
Does someone have an idea?
Thanks for each assistance

Hi List,
RHEL 4 Clone, Samba 3.01014
Can it be, which gives it problems with big files ( > 700MB)?
>From time to time if copied large files to the server,
the network connection to the server will be very slow.
ping ServerXX more than 2sec, the server is no longer available.
The interesting is, the system has only 0.2 CPU load
Starting again Samba alone is not sufficient.

SIP Incoming / Inbound not working for Broadvoice (Asterisk PBX 1.6.1.6)
Hello,
Please forgive me if I'm repeating this post. I have searched and looked for
similar problem with a solution but have not see a similar one.
My outgoing SIP and other channels work fine but the incoming/inbound SIP
call goes straight to Broadvoice voicemail. I see that Broadvoice is
registered when I look at the SIP registry. I have turned on SIP Debug and
it is below.
Anyone know

The phone registers with the Asterisk server as ext 20.
I can initiate and receive calls from the Grandstream phone fine.

I work exclusively in the area of small LANS (5-10 machines max) where
security is not a major issue. Therefore I have always created simple
smb.conf files with share based security. I am also a newbee to Linux -
most of my experience has been with SAMBA.
