SSL only working in DEBUG mode
Hello all,
With a really fast lookup, I think it is probably a problem of NSS
initialization (key loading...) .
As the problem occurs only when upsd is forked and as nss is initialized (
https://github.com/networkupstools/nut/blob/master/server/upsd.c#L1008)before
upsd deamonify (
https://github.com/networkupstools/nut/blob/master/server/upsd.c#L1035), I
suspect NSS to not be fork-safe.
I will

SSL only working in DEBUG mode
Some precisions:
we are not alone, some projects had similar problem:
http://bugs.bitlbee.org/bitlbee/ticket/785
And the problem is really coming from NSS initialization. Discussion about
the issue here : http://osdir.com/ml/mozilla.crypto/2002-08/msg00016.html
There is a workaround to use NSS with fork but it is more setting a flag to
share some resources (primarily sockets) but must

Samba 3 and Mac OS X Jaguar to authenticate AD2003 users
Hi all
My network is splitted in two parts: windows and macintosh, but all the
usernames/password are on a win2003 server (with active directory, of
course). I'd jusk like to allow authentication on both platforms with a
single username, stored in AD. I read somewhere that OS X Server 10.3
has Samba 3 as a default package installed, but I can't unfortunately
upgrade the OS, so I need some

ad2003 schema while forest/domain at 2008R2 level
Hi everyone,
I came across this issue today while upgrading a samba4 AD. The
forest/domain level is 2008R2, however the schema partition is actually
missing the msDS-isRODC attribute (and probably a few others). It makes
the ADUC console to failed on that entry below. Here is the samba log
message (which is quite explicit :-)

SSL only working in DEBUG mode
Hi,
I spent quite some time pulling my hair out and trying to figure out why
NUT wasn't working properly with SSL enabled. I tried several approaches
until I found something interesting.
I'm using NUT 2.7.1 in Ubuntu Server 14.04 Trusty Tahr
After properly configuring a self signed certificate with "certutil" from
libnss3-tools, there was no way to get proper SSL connection

Wifi Driver Broadcom BCM4322 not working with Centos 7.2
Hi,
I've been using in the past the broadcom wifi card BCM4322 with Centos 7.1
one in the past, with kernel 3.10.0-229.7.2.el7 and driver 6_30_223_248 and
it worked well.
Now I updated Centos to 7.2 and the driver is not compiling any more under
kernel 3.10.0-327.3.1.el7. Neither driver 6_30_223_238 nor 6_30_223_271.
Does any body experienced the same issues?
Cheers,
Roberto Nebot

Wifi Driver Broadcom BCM4322 not working with Centos 7.2
The kmod package (kmod-wl-6_30_223_271-2.el7.nux.x86_64.rpm) is
available from the nux-dextop repo. If you'd rather build it yourself,
please see http://elrepo.org/tiki/wl-kmod for details.

Skype 4.3.0.37 on Centos 7
Hi,
Does anybody tried to install Skype on Centos 7.2?
It is giving a segmentation fault when you start it. I installed using the
nux repository and the fedora rpm.
