Net RPC Vampire not sucking all groups
I've tried numerous times but cannot get Vampire to bring across all groups or add users to all groups that they belong to. Sometimes I get everygroup except 1, other times not so lucky. Running R in Bash and R GUI

Samba password expiry time
I have found that when passwords are reset from a windows machine, the default password expiry period is around 40 days. I would like to change this to say 90 days, but have been unable to find a way. I tried the option "password expire time" but testparm doesn't seem to recognise it. URI.escape() broken or misdocumented in Ruby 1.8.4

Deleted from partition table

Regression query ...
Forgive me, I do not yet use R nor is it (yet) installed on my machine. I just need an answer to whether (and how ?) Query installing R on Mac OS X Leopard (new release)...
Thanks to Mark, Moshe and David for helpful responses to my query on Regression. I am now trying to install <R-2.6.0.dmg> on my Macbook Pro running OS X 10.5 (ie Leopard) since last weeken, so far without issue. At the prompt ³Installation Type² (after destination drive is selected) the 4 parts to be checked are all grayed out and so also is the (Install) button. I can¹t seem to continue

Samba segment faulting - unknown cause
Hello, Recently our Samba server has started segment faulting. It happens occasionally, but is often enough to cause disruption. Stripping out textile markup
Hi, I have several hundred pages of text, all carefully marked up with textile, which I use redcloth to convert to html for display. Now I find I need all these pages to alternatively output plain text - ie. A-Za-z0-9 and simple punctuation only. Any suggestions on the best way to do this? My only thought is to let redcloth do its stuff, and then strip out the html tags - but it feels wrong.

quantreg and sparseM will not load
I have recently started using R and want to use the quantreg (and sparseM) packages. I downloaded the .tar files for each, and placed the subsequent folders into the library folder in the frameworks/R.framework/ resources/library folder with all the other packages.
