Shadow Copy and Windows 7
Before I beat myself over this... Iv'e set-up shadow_copy2 and it works
great for XP,2003,Vista and 2008. Windows 7 however does not find any
previous versions of the files. Anyone aware of a problem or a solution? We

first off dekaron-fussion is a private server version of 2 moons / dekaron
a few notable differences iv'e noticed in the files.
fussion dose not have minilauncher.exe (which would probably load gamegaurd solving one problem and creating another)

I'm running two Ubuntu 14.04 servers with Samba version 4.3.8-Ubuntu on
each. I haven't been able to access the tools since April 15, 2016. It is

Applying dynamic compression to live audio
Hi:
I want to stream audio from my soundcard, but I'd like to apply some
dynamic compression to it first (ala winamp's audiostocker plus shoutmuxer
thingy). I heard rumours of compression in liveice, but Iv'e been told
that this only works when it plays from prerecorded MP3, not the live
input. I'd like to do this with darkice, but can't see how it could be
done. I guess

Upgrade question
Hi:
I want to upgrade a Fedora Core 1 Linux machine that is running Samba
3.0.2a to 3.0.5. Initially, I compiled the 3.0.2a source, with
defaults, and installed. The installation resides in /usr/local/samba.
Can I download the 3.0.5 source, compile and install without breaking
anything? Will the configuration be broken? Does anyone know a way to
do this cleanly?
Anyone's help is

MS-DOS, WinXP SP2 with 3.05 and 3.0.6rc2
Hello!
I use Windows XP SP2 on my clients. I use the http://unattended.sf.net to
automatically
install my WinXP machines from a MS-DOS client. This works fine in
samba-3.0.5 but since
SP2 causes a problem with printers I upgraded to samba-3.0.6rc2. RC2 in
turn doesn't work
with MS-DOS clients. The symptom is that I can boot from the fileserver
but when I try to
invoke a program I get

Windows XP SP2 (Official) and Samba 3
I've looked through the archives and the only information I can find regarding
Windows XP SP2 is RC2. Has anyone out there had ANY experience with XP SP2
Official and a Samba 3 domain?
