o2cb_ctl: Unable to access cluster service Cannot initialize cluster
Hi, I've tried to run ocfs2 on debian stable (sarge). Have patched and compiled a new kernel-package using vanilla 2.6.14 sources. No compiler errors, all modules for ocfs2 builded. Installed the Debian packages ocfs2-tools_1.0.0-1_i386.deb and ocfs2console_1.0.0-1_i386.deb without any problems. But now I can't initialize the cluster, whether through ocfs2console or with

smbldap-tools updates (diffs)
Hi all, I have found the smbldap-tools provided in the samba 3 tarball to have a few glitches with the samba 3 schema. I have made my changes and 'diffed' them with the source. root@localhost # pwd /usr/local/samba/sbin root@localhost # for i in *.p*; do echo $i; diff $i /usr/local/src/samba-3.0.0rc4/examples/LDAP/smbldap-tools/$i; done smbldap-groupadd.pl smbldap-groupdel.pl

sambaPwdMustChange not properly set with smbldap
I'm using samba 3.0.6 on fedora core 1 with LDAP enabled and smbldap-tools. When I change a user password with smbldap-passwd <username>, i find that sambaPwdMustChange attribute is correctly set to 30 days later as set in smbldap_conf. But, if I try to change password from any Win2000 or WinXP client with CTRL+ALT+CANC --> CHANGE PASSWORD i notice that sambaPwdMustChange attribute

The same configuration (e.g. ACLs in slapd.conf) does not work with my "self-compiled" Samba- OpenLDAP-PDC at Debian I am using Debian (woody), kernel 2.4.27-pre2. I compiled - Berkley DB

Bugfix for idealx smbldap-tools
Hi. When I tried to setup my LDAP I used the smbldap-tools from idealx. I discovered some errors which made the tools unusable for me. Here's a fix for the bugs I discovered: a) I decided to use a suffix in the LDAP which contains spaces, ie. I used something like "o=My Org,c=DE". Because the suffix wasn't quoted in the various calls in the tools, this didn't work. b) It

Error when running smbldap-passwd.pl from idealx
Hi again! I've installed the smbldap-tools 0.6 package on my system. I've modified /usr/local/sbin/smb*conf.pm and changed the $suffix and $bindpasswd to reflect what I've at the server. I've then added a user to the system with "smbldap-useradd.pl -m user". When I run smbldap-passwd.pl, I get the following error message: [root@teich smbldap-tools]# smbldap-passwd.pl
