Hy, I'm writing a application using speex. This app have two threads one is encoding the other one decoding using speex. I dont know why but I got segfault on some systems. If I juste take off one of the thread like encoding and lauchin the decoding part in a thread and the application is still segfaulting. klibc fails to build on ia64 because it has neither fork nor the ppoll syscalls. This patch marks the former in SYSCALLS.def, and puts a guard wrapper around the ppoll definition in ppoll.c Should these calls return ENOSYS rather than simply not existing on some systems? If yes, please apply this and I'll follow up with a patch shortly that does ENOSYS for this and pselect at least.

Hi everyone, I just released Speex 1.1.11, which includes lots of bug fixes. Among those, the SSE optimizations have now been fixed and a few minor bugs in the fixed-point and Blackfin ports have been corrected. Our shared file server decided to take a hiatus from WINS earlier this week. On friday we could see the machine name in the browse function of any windows box when you went to the map network drives portion of windows explorer. Now the only way I can map a network drive is to enter the server's IP like this: \\ 192.168.xxx.xxx\sharename But this also presents a problem because this server

The system has latest redhat and samba stable versions compiled from source and all works except when coping files from windows (2000/XP) to samba server. When copying it is very slow, extremely slow and locks up the copy most of the time. I checked DNS and Network and all is working fine. Samba is configured in share mode as we just share a few directories. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I run a script to mount several file shares from machines running W98 and W2000 so that I can do incremental dumps every night of these file shares. smbmount almost always fails to exit. This causes the script to stall and so the dumps are not done. In the am, if I kill the smbmount processes, the dumps complete successfully, since the mounts were in fact correctly completed.
