When an XP box is reading a file from the Samba server performance is what you would expect with 100 mbs ethernet. Just thought I'd say that samba4 is working quite nicely. Samba4 DC on Ubuntu server. Added a W2k3R2 and W2k8R2 server as DC's. Took a little bit of play to get it done, but not much.
