It's been a while since I have addressed this problem, but here is another attempt. We have a samba 3.0 server with ldap backend in security = user level. We logon to the samba domain and in that sense everything is running fine, but only when I disable DHCP. Hi, Is there any simple way to send messages to all users who are connected to my Samba server. I've just a basic fileserver setup (in a workgroup not Domain) all clients are using Win2k and mapping to shares. I have a great understanding problem about acls and share-definitions. I use Samba 3.0.1pre3, compiled with acl-support, everything works fine, ACL's can be set with Windows XP File-Manager and the getfacl shows that it is OK. I just received an unlocked ADSI phone and I am playing with the ADSI script. I was wondering how I can include Voicemail functions (Check new messages, Delete message) into the soft buttons. Hi all, I have started the rsync in deamon mode. When I use the following command: rsync --port 9876 u018::treeA it seems to work fine but no files are copied from the server. Using rsync without the deamon works fine.
