Icecast Logging
I have some questions about Icecast logging... How close is Icecast logging to the Apache logging format? Can you customize the output options like Apache? We've used several tools to process our Icecast logs in the past, including Webalizer and Urchin. Urchin seems to report some slightly erroneous data. What have others used for processing Icecast's access.log file? Hunter --- >8

[Fwd: [Bug 1699331] gssproxy segmentation fault]
Hi, folks, Especially Johnny - could you possibly push this fix through as soon as upstream puts it out? It's a real issue for us - we've had a number of servers whether gssproxy keeps SEGVing, which hits NFS and samba. Thanks in advance. mark ---------------------------- Original Message ---------------------------- Subject: [Bug 1699331] gssproxy segmentation fault

Still confused on content blocks...
I''ve read the docs. Honestly. But, I still can''t get my site working with the latest gem. I''m confused over when and how I need to specify content blocks, and how these relate to the stuff in config.yaml. The specific problem is with my analytics file include, I get errors like this: An error has occurred: Error while processing </analytics.en.html>: Error

Possible PAWS security vulnerability
Hello security gurus, yesterday, I mistakenly posted a question on the questions list about this article : http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/13676/info/ which talks about a form of DOS vulnerability. I was curious as to the possibility of FreeBSD 5.x being affected, and if anyone was working on this or not. Ted Mittelstaedt posted this possible patch based upon the OpenBSD patch : in

But what is happening is a user that is in the Active Directory, but not on the FreeBSD server cannot

External password sync, unix password sync / passwd program
Hi: I've been trying to set up external password sync to Google Apps -- and went so far as to write a script, before realizing "unix password sync" and "passwd program" etc., don't seem to be working in samba 4.2.0 rc2 in AD DC mode. I also stumbled on this prior list posting saying unix password sync doesn't work -- though the MAN pages suggest this is supported:

[LLVMdev] llvm-clang jit module running into unresolved functions
We are trying to adapt the clang-llvm interpreter code here<http://llvm.org/viewvc/llvm-project/cfe/trunk/examples/clang-interpreter/> to run some c++ code that uses stl vector and c++ string among other things. This resulted in a number of unresolved symbols, and after eliminating a bunch of them, we are still stuck with __Unwind_resume and __assert_fail I would really appreciate any help

AJAX: do render but show element in same click?
I''m a rails newbie. I''ve got a link_to_remote that puts a partial render into a div ("note1", "note2", etc.). As part of the display that comes up, I put in a hide note link (element.toggle). Click that, the div goes away, everything''s great... except now I can''t get it back. How can I call the remote AND make the div show at the same

Deep nested associations on the same Model
This could be a lot simpler than I think and I''m just missing something obvious! I''m working on a creative collaboration app whereby one user could submit a Story and this can then be forked by another user and worked on seperately. To acheive this I have a has_many association within the same Story model as such: class Story < ActiveRecord::Base has_many

Unix Password Sync -- Are Passwords Encryped?
Hello, For Unix Password Sync, I am curios how Samba can provide the passwd program with an unencrypted password. If a Windows user presses Control+Alt+Delete and changes their password, are the passwords sent over the network in plain text? Does Samba decrypt the password, then provide it to the passwd program? Thanks, Charles

Unix-password-sync in LDAP?
Hello, how can I change the user-passwords correctly in my OpenLDAP during Windows-password-change? My problem: The script does only change "userPassword", but not the field "shadowLastChange", so my unix-passwords expired. unix password sync = yes passwd program = /etc/samba/scripts/ldap_userPassword_change %u passwd chat = *New*password* %n\n *new*password* %n\n *Success*
