Samba experts, Ok, we are having so many problems getting ldap to work, we decided to start over with our compile. We are compiling Samba --with-ldap on our AIX 5.1 system which uses gcc. Peter- Can you please clarify the license of libcom32, from the samples directory in syslinux? I am attempting to create .c32 files that are not encumbered by the GPL, but the conio.c file states that is is covered by the GPL. So far, I have resisted linking with libcom32.a, but is it really your intent to license the library code under GPL, and not something more like the LGPL?

Hi, I'm trying to do a regression like this: wage.r = lm( log(WAGE) ~ log(EXPER) where EXPER is an integer that goes from 0 to about 50. EXPER contains some zeros, so you can't take its log, and the above regression therefore fails. I would like to make R accept log(0) as 0, is that possible? Or do I have first have to turn the 0's into 1's to be able to do the above

Hi, On a Fedora box we installed Samba 3.0.8pre1-0.pre1.3 Accidently we've removed the samba password file. Now, we can't get access to Samba anymore. Is there a way to re-create it ? Or do we have to reinstall Samba ? BTW: We have no backup .... cheers, Andy
