We just brought our first set of Windows-based PCs in, and would like to integrate them into our existing Linux/MacOS X environment. I was trying to restart my LDAP service and used /etc/init.d/slapd restart, but it said "slapd: unrecognized service." so I tried /etc/init.d ldap restart and it says that restarts the service slapd [ok]. I tried to look for the service on webmin and slapd doesn't even exist. Is the problem on my side or is there a mistake on the Samba-HOWTO-Collection? Ambex
