I moved my original smb.conf and secrets.tdb to a new installation of MDK 10.0 OE; what used to be a great working system no longer works; I've checked all the configs via Webmin/Samba/Swat modules, and still, nothing is working. I want to use NT4's SRVTOOLS to manage the Samba-PDC,But when i use it ,i mean ,when i add a account for windows,Samba can only receive the username from the tool. The firewall didnt help matters. I think its FUBAR and I need to reformat anyways, so ill reformat and reinstall and put fresh SAMBA up, on Mandrake 9.0.
