Primary Group == Windows-Group?
Hello, 1: I've read, that primary-group of a user must be a windows-group? Is that true? 2. Why is there no group named 'Power Users' in Samba? (Actually there is only 'Domain Users' with insufficiant permissions on a win-box) matze

Roaming profiles brings error with prf*.tmp files
We have an Apple OSX 10.3.4 Opendirectory (LDAP) Server with an SAMBA (3.0.2) PDC Server with roaming profiles for Windows XP (SP1 Prof) Clients on the Server. User Profiles somewhat broken
Ned and Matze, These are the groupmappings as I currently have set them. Do the undefined ones make a difference? I had imagined not. Netware 4.11 -> Samba 30
Hello, I have to migrate 30GB from a Novell Netware 4.11 to Samba (ReiserFS/ACL). When I used robocopy.exe from the Windows XP Resource-Kit, it will only copy the Timestamp, but not the owner. Is there a way to copy the owner of a file or directory? matze

Locked prf files within Roaming Profiles
Hello everybody, we have the following problem here: We've set up a complete samba domain (based on 3.0.20 now) which is running very fine including ldap backend. But we've still problems using roaming profiles (especially prf*tmp) files. We already tested the veto oplock directive with /prf*.tmp/ and even /*.tmp/ but these files remain always locked. Only "root" can delete

Different PRF with --disable-legacy-protocol?
Hi everybody. I'm struggling with setting up an SPTPS connection between two of my machines. I attached the patch that I used to analyze this. Apparently different keys are derived depending on the crypto backend. Is this intentional? Linking to openssl results in char key[] = { 0xb2, 0x9d, 0x8d, 0x24, 0x91, 0x04, 0xaf, 0x25, 0x3f, 0x10, 0x34, 0x9d, 0xc7, 0x73, 0x8c, 0xe1, 0x24, 0x32,

[LLVMdev] code-owner sporks
Just brainstorming here, but what if each CODE_OWNER maintained a spork on Github and accepted Pull Requests? What's a spork, you ask? Well it's fork with no intent to diverge - it spoons some centralized repo (be it via git or git-svn). If you haven't heard the term 'spork' in this context before, it's either because I just made it up or that we share the same

calbacks on models
Hi, I''m having some strange behavior on callbacks when testing with RSpec2. On my test, when I create a resource using the #create method the callbacks related to #before_create are not called. If I go to the console and I try to type the command Resource.create(client_uri: "http://example.com") all works fine. There are no mocks around, and I can''t understand if this
