Re: [libvirt] Host OS, Storage Info
Martin, et al, Sorry for the lag in response. So I started playing with the various virsh commands. Awesome. Been doing some reading and I believe I have some things configured not so well. As I stated earlier in the thread, we have all of the VM image files on one RAID5. Very fast machine. When using top, the load average is a stable "5.xx". No I/O wait. GB's of free memory.

Re: [libvirt] Host OS, Storage Info
Martin, Thanks for the information. That makes sense. I *believe* we are good there. I noticed something weird yesterday. After a clone (via the virt-manager GUI) it seems libvirtd locked up. A force quit pop up appeared - I had to kill it. Then I restarted libvirtd. Then I did a "ps -edf | grep libvirt" and there were three (3) libvirtd --daemon processes. Then any virsh

[LLVMdev] Suboptimal code due to excessive spilling
Hi, I have run into the following strange behavior and wanted to ask for some advice. For the C program below, function sum() gets inlined in foo() but the code generated looks very suboptimal (the code is an extract from a larger program). Below I show the 32-bit x86 assembly as produced by the demo page on the llvm home page ("Output A"). As you can see from the assembly, after

[LLVMdev] Suboptimal code due to excessive spilling
I don't know much about this, but maybe -mllvm -unroll-count=1 can be used as a workaround? /Patrik Hägglund -----Original Message----- From: llvmdev-bounces at cs.uiuc.edu [mailto:llvmdev-bounces at cs.uiuc.edu] On Behalf Of Brent Walker Sent: den 28 mars 2012 03:18 To: llvmdev Subject: [LLVMdev] Suboptimal code due to excessive spilling Hi, I have run into the following strange behavior

Key comment to syslog on login
Hello, Firstly thankyou for developing openssh - it is a great tool. Secondly I'm not subscribed to this list - sorry! It would be helpful to log the key comment to syslog when logging in using private key authentication. At the moment I get. Nov xx xx:xx:xx hostname sshd[pid]: Accepted publickey for root from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx port xxxxx ssh2 If this could be changed to log the key comment

I have a Proliant running Red Hat with the 2.6.9-5.ELsmp kernel. We have a Windows 2000 Server who's secondary disc drive is mounted on the Linux box via CIFS using the following command: /sbin/mount.cifs //w2000/docs /var/www/documents -o dir_mode=0777,file_mode=0444,gid=100,uid=501,username=winuser,password=winpass From time to time, for whatever reason, the Windows 2000 Server

Vista roaming profiles...
Hi everybody, after many weeks of searching/trying, I still can't manage to get vista to use/save roaming profiles with samba as PDC... It has apparently worked a few times in the beginning since the profiles directories are populated. Could it be related to a Vista update or SP1? Here's what I did so far: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System]

Install Location on Linux Red Hat
Hi, I'm having some difficulty installing R on our server which is running RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) 5.2. I'm using RPM (Red Hat Package Manager) and by default it installs R in /usr/bin. Unfortunately due to a very small partition size, I have run out of space in this directory. I was hoping to install R in another location such as /data. I'm wondering if anyone else has run

Looking for specific drag and drop implementation
I finally started playing with delicious and am liking it! I''m building an app where people can have various ''folders'' of images and then ''sets'' of said images. A set is simply a object that links to any number of specific image in the folders. To create/organize a set, I''ve set up two draggables. One being a selected folder, the other being

Wine tools problems?
Don't know if this is the right place to ask for winetools assistance, but.... I installed the wt210jo rpm along with the latest wine rpm (20050111) but whenever I try to launch the install for IE6 or any of the other applications in Winetools, everything errors out, saying that it can't find OLE32.DLL. Obviously I don't have any version of windows installed anywhere (and this is

TmMidity
In trying to get NoteWorthy Composer working on my box (Mandrake 10.0, Gnome 2.4) I found a webboard for NWC under Linux (on wine). Following advice, I downloaded and compiled TiMidity. Unfortunately, when I try to follow the instructions given on the board, I get the following result [andrew@localhost rosegarden-4-1.0]$ su Password: [root@localhost rosegarden-4-1.0]# modprobe

(Apologies if this has already gone to the list. I've been trying to post via the newsgroup and it appears none of my messages went through...so now I'm doing it via the list-serv) I have samba (2.28) running on a linux server (Mandrake 9.2). Push relay from nicecast with icecast2?
Darrel, Thanks for the help. I'm presuming then that I've misunderstood what is meant by "pull" vs. "push". I understood, I guess erroneously, that the context of 'push' relaying was from the perspective of the icecast2 receiving a 'pushed' stream. I believe now that I have this backwards, and that the context is from the part of icecast2 not being

FIFA09 Error in DarWine
Hi I'm using DarWine, the Kronenberg package and I've tried to install FIFA09. I did everything as instructed, typed in my cd-key, had it install in the C Drive. After installation though, I couldn't find the FIFA09 nor the EA Sports folder anywhere. There was, though, a shortcut on my desktop. Upon running the application from the shortcut, I got a message saying "FIFA09.exe
