2.0.5a on AIX 4.3.2, smbclient failures.
Dear All, We have successfully run 1.9.18p2 on our AIX 3.2.5 servers since 1.9.18p2 was released, with heavy access for printing and file sharing from users and NT servers. We are currently in the process of upgrading to AIX 4.3.2 (now completed) and have been trying to implement 2.0.5a. I have used the AIX binary install which all worked. We are using WINS/DNS/DHCP running on the NT servers

Samba performance issue
Hi, In the last a couple of weeks, Eric helped me fixed a couple of my new samba 3.0.5 running on HP-UX 11i hang issues. Right now, people still experience slowness when they run some applications on the samba shares OR recursive list directories on the samba shares. There was not a lot of errors in the individual log files. However, there are some errors in log.smbd and log.0.0.0.0 file. 1)

Login Failure
Greetings. Is there something up with Samba and RedHat, or with recent kernels, or with some packages that have been updated recently? A lot of us seem to see the same login errors with samba and I have yet to get my windows clients to login to my new samba server. The log messages really don't help. I had an old server running Samba 2.0.7 (RedHat 5.0 upgraded to nearly 5.2 with 2.0.33).

quota-support seems to be broken in 3.0.6/3.0.7
Hello we're using samba based on the debian-package, which we translated including the configure-option "--with-quotas" The user-interaction with quotas is OK, in his (the users) view the partition-size is limited to his quota-hard-limit. This works both with XFS and EXT3. Windows (XP SP1 and SP2) administration of quota is not possible. Using 3.0.5 I can do a
