I have installed the Samba 3.0.0 as PDC. If number of users is small (about 15) it works fine, but when it grows and the whole list of users or groups doesn't fit in one RPC buffer, Win98 "servers" can't get it and unable to set user level security. Hallo, I try to boot the windows 98 bootdisk via memdisk. It doesn't work completely. Booting a freedos FD image works, booting the windows 98 image works too. hi all, After inspecting different W98 configuration, it appears that if you've got multiuser/session activated on a W98, it forces the use of remote profile on the Samba server, in your personnal folder (/home/user). desactivating this beahviour and all is right now. cheers
