New Windows 8 RSAT and "OU=Domain Controllers" support?
Hello, We have two DCs. One runs Windows 2003 R2, and the other Samba 4.0.5. Forest functional level is Windows 2000 native. I recently demoted (worked flawlessy now, which was a great relief), rebuilt and re-promoted my Samba 4 DC, as my problems that I posted to this list about two monts were still unresolved (see https://lists.samba.org/archive/samba/2013-February/171898.html), and I thoght

It all depends on how you are set up on the distribute. Think RAID 10 with 4 drives - each pair strips (distribute) and the pair of pairs replicates. There you find the PDC Emulator role. In the piramide. ;-) This one explains even better then the technet link. It also explains Alexei's question i believe. Greetz, Louis

Microsoft Monad Shell
Not sure if this has application for R but Microsoft's new Monad shell is now in public beta. I have not looked at it myself but I wonder if the tools that are required to create Windows R packages could be replaced by this? ---- The Monad team has recently released Monad Beta 3.1 to Microsoft Download Center and we're working diligently towards a release of Monad 1.0! About lossless and point stereo
Hi, I've read the Vorbis stereo documentation on square polar mapping and currently reading the source code to understand it. But there are some things which I don't quite understand and hope I can get some guidance on. I understand the decoding/decoupling part as it is the same as the one described in the stereo docs: From mapping0.c: /* channel coupling */
