You should give us a look at your smb.conf. AFAIK from my very own experience: 3.0.21c somehow behaves different from 3.0.20 with the same smb.conf. Maybe you have to set some values which did not have to be set before. I have this problem. Samba server version 2.2.3a Server Hp 9000 - HP-UX 11.11. Clients W98. Server is used as file-server (config file smb.conf with no particulry changes-I have keeped originally hp-configuration) . Hi listers. People here are trying to push me into moving the Outlook .psts on a samba share for back-up reasons. I'd like to hear your experience about this: is it feasible in the size of 20 users with 400...800MB each .pst? Any special settings on samba side? Something special that I should pay attention to? Or is just "NO"?

I'm having trouble authenticating users. WinXP will authenticate fine if accessed via hostname... //fileserver/share. Ip does not work.. ie //192.168.1.2/share. Anything below winXP cannot authenticate. Nothing is shown in error logs. wbinfo -t does not work.. returns the following errors. A few hot fixes were applied to domain controlers as well as SP4. Hi, I'm using Outlook 2000 under Wine 20050111. Generally things work great, apart from one very annoying problem - whenever I try to open a message with an attachment, Outlook crashes. I'm connecting via exchange and it doesn't seem to matter what sort of attachment it is - it simply crashes as soon as I click on the message. Anyone had any similar problems and know a workaround?
