Problem getting share list from NetApp
We defined a share, sales_cifs_test, on our NetApp server. Note that the length of the name is longer than 13 characters. We can see the share with Microsoft Explorer. We can mount the share from Linux using smbmount. What we want to do is to get a list of shares from NetApp. The tools that can do this are the samba programs smbclient and net. Smbclient will not show names longer than 13

Reclocking support for NVA0
Adds reclocking for NVA0, and a whole lot of work for other cards. Had these patches collecting dust for a little, but tested them with both my NVA0, and Martin's a while back. Success not guaranteed, but should be quite a leap forward. Happy reviewing and testing. Cheers, Roy

NMBD shutting down problem
Hi, I use a samba 3.0.2a server on a Linux Mandrake 10.0. This morning, I found the nmb daemon shut down with the following message in the nmbd log file : [2004/07/03 20:39:53, 0] nmbd/nmbd.c:reload_interfaces(263) reload_interfaces: No subnets to listen to. Shutting down... Over the web, I found many questions about this problem but no real answer. Any idea or precision about this. It is a

Boxplot position on X-axis relative to it's value
Dear R-Experts. I collected different datas about Nitrogen content (mg/ml) in Dung. The dung was eighter fresh (day=0) or had different ages (15,29,47) to observe nutrient changes over time. Now I like to draw a boxplot. boxplot(nmgml~day) abline((nmgml~day) The Problem is, that the boxplot considers the day values as groups and not as time series (neighter when the days are numeric or

NVA3: Small misc mem reclocking fixes
Patch 1 fixes nva3 bailing due to not finding the right ramcfg Patch 2 is a resend rebased on 3.17.0-rc4 for setting the vblank period Patch 3-5 handle writes to per-partition registers, for which NVA3 does not have special broadcast regs available. Patch 6 removes local structs from NVA3 reclocking in favour of the already existing "ram->base." variables, like in NVE0 As always,

Trust domain
Hi, All, I upgraded my samba to 2.2.4 recently. There is one question about trusted domain. If I set 'winbind use default domain' to yes, supposed the domain name is D1, a trusted domain D2, when I run wbinfo -u, what I should I get? I remembered I will get users like D1\UserOnD1 ..... D2\UserOnD2 ... in previous version. Thanks in advance, Juer

api_pipe_bind_req: unknown auth type 9 requested.
I encountered this error/warning (I don't know) and I saw in http://lists.samba.org/archive/samba/2005-May/105124.html that jerry was aware of the problem. Should I worry about it or ignore this message ? Thanks.

Samba 3.x SVN and OS/2 support.
Hi all Samba OS/2 users. I've just added OS/2 style extended attribute support into the SAMBA_3_0 subversion branch code. This depends on the underlying OS supporting EA's and (on linux) the filesystem being mounted with the "user_xattr" mount option and the parameter "ea support = yes" being set in smb.conf. Please check out this code and test it - let me know if

new printing patch for 3.0.10 may fix the 'failure to remove print jobs from queue list display'
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I've uploaded a new draft of the printing patch for 3.0.10 to http://www.samba.org/~jerry/patches/post-3.0.10/ The only change is a small fix to fix the register_message_flags() error messages in the logs. After some thought, I think this might address the 'jobs failing to be removed from the queue list' bug. If people could test and let

Preparations for Fermi DRAM clock changes
No, no, these will not implement Fermi reclocking. This set of patches contains some of the preparatory work that I deem stable enough to move upstream. Notable changes - Training pattern upload routines from GK104+ now shared with GT215+ - Timing calculation for Fermi - GDDR5 MR calculation from VBIOS timing table v1.0. Also useful for that pesky GT 240. - A routine to translate a VBIOS init

GTX 760 passed through
Hello, I''ve successfully passed a unmodified GTX 760 to Win7 x64. It involved some driver patching on the client side but I''m close to getting the required steps on the server side, too. Are there any legal issues that might arise from releasing a patch? Bob [image: Inline image 1] _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xen.org
