Linux disk quota support
Dear Listmembers,
I installed samba-3.0.28 and configured --with-quotas, but I don't seem
to be getting quota support. Is there a description on how to do quotas
with samba? Is there something I should know about besides the
configuration
option --with-quotas?
Thank you,
Emre Brookes

Rsync 2.5.5 hangs
Hey Everybody,
I'm trying to use rsync to do a remote backup. First I open a ssh
tunnel to the rsync daemon on the server. Then I run rsync through this
tunnel. An example follows:
ssh -v -x -p 1999 -L 8730:localhost:873 user@host.mydomain.com -f sleep
5 && rsync --port 8730 --verbose --update --archive --exclude='[Cc]ache'
--delete-excluded --password-file

Problem with Linux x86_64 RODBC and Netezza (PR#13889)
Full_Name: Kenneth Cater
Version: 2.9.1
OS: Linux x86_64
Submission from: (NULL) (171.159.192.10)
It appears that R closes my connection to the Netezza device before the Netezza

tracks the systems call made when running the test.r file, and clean_test.out
which is the output generated when test.r is executed. Notice how

Error using e1071 svm: NA/NaN/Inf in foreign function call
Hello,
As far I saw in archive mailing list, I am not the first person with this problem. Anyway I was not able to pass this error once the information I got from the archive it is not very conclusive for this case. I have used linear, radial and sigmoid kernels for the same data in the same conditions and everything is ok. This problem just happens with the polynomial kernel. I send the

Master of Orion 2 hangs when run in Wine 0.9.17 under Fedora Core 5
I recently installed Fedora Cora 5 (2.6.17-1.2157_FC5) on my PC, and
then installed Wine (0.9.17) from the Fedora yum repository. I then
installed Master of Orion II, and tried to run it. It started OK, but

stopped working, and the only way I could break out was to hit
Ctrl-Alt-Del and log out. I tried this repeatedly, and
