ntlm_auth from pppd help
Hello all, I am working on a VPN solution using FC3-2.6.12-1.1381 - openswan 2.4.4-1 - l2tpd 0.69-13 - pppd 2.4.3-5 - samba 3.0.10-1. When attempting a connection from an XP-SP2 box pppd dies without authenticating the user (see below). I have run ntlm_auth from the command line with success. What tools can I use to identify the failure? Is there an obvious error in the ppp options file?

2.2.8pre1 smbclient log in problem
Hi all samba coders. Glad to see that you work to improve samba. Here is a problem I would be very greatful if you could solve. Certain international characters does not work as usernames when trying to log in to an NT4 file server. My problem is that in Swedish versions of NT the "Administrator" username is translated and reads "Administrat?r". It seams that the

Shorewall and CUPS printing interference
I''m having a problem with the Shorewall firewall and CUPS printing interfering with each other. My Linux firewall machine is acting as both a CUPS server and client for all of my tests. Shorewall 2.0.13 CUPS 1.1.22-2 Linux kernel 2.6.9 CUPS was working fine to print to my Epson C84 (network connected via a Netgear PS101 print server using lpd://PS101.IP.address/raw ) until I

[LLVMdev] function pass to visit BB bottom-up order
Hello llvmdevs, In a function pass, I need to visit all the basic blocks in bottom-up order (the exact opposite of ReversePostOrderTraversal). I noticed some APIs like po_iterator but wasn't able to figure out an example usage for this on web. Any pointers/suggestions are highly appreciated. Thanks, Ananth -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Object.size() should not visit every element for alt-rep strings, or there should be an altstring_objectsize_method
You should really take this up with RStudio. Calling object.size on every top level assignment as they appear to do is a bad idea, even without ALTREP. object.size is only a cheap operation for simple atomic vectors. For anything with recursive sturcture it needs to walk the object, so the effort is proprtional to object size: > x <- rep("A", 1e8) > system.time(object.size(x))

export R-data to VisIt
Hello, Is there anyone porting R data to VisIt (http://www.llnl.gov/visit/)? Altough VisIt accepts 5 dozen of data formats, I can't get my data into VisIt. I currently ran a simulation which gave me a data frame, which I wanted to import into VisIt to further explore the dataframe. Let's say I have a data frame as follows: dat <- data.frame(cbind( 1, 1:10),X3=

[LLVMdev] Use clang to generate LLVM IR with -O3, how to visit these load operations after -reg2mem
Hi, all I want to instrument load/store operations in LLVM IR. And I find the LLVM IR generated with flag -o3 is much more efficient than -o0, so I try to instrument on these optimized LLVM IR, but, some load operations are changed to Phi loads. Then, I try the -reg2mem flag to remove these phi nodes. The problems are: 1) I use visitLoadInst to collect these load operations, and it seems I

site takes a while to load after first visit in a while
Using lighttpd + fcgi to power a site. When no one has accessed it in a while, the first visit to the page takes a while to load up. Then subsequent visits are fairly fast. Any ideas on how to fix it?

setting session id for first visit
I am logging web visits with a before_filter on the application controller. The issue I''m having is that the initial visit does not return a session id. I''m using the SqlSessionStore and the function MysqlSession.find_session(session.session_id) to retrieve the session id. If it doesn''t exist I use a -1. So looking in my visits table the initial visit always has -1 for

Object.size() should not visit every element for alt-rep strings, or there should be an altstring_objectsize_method
Below is a toy alt-rep string example, that generates N random strings: https://gist.github.com/traversc/a48a504eb062554f2d6ff8043ca16f9c example: `x <- altrandomStrings(1e8)` `head(x)` [1] "2PN0bdwPY7CA8M06zVKEkhHgZVgtV1" "5PN2qmWqBlQ9wQj99nsQzldVI5ZuGX" ... `object.size(1e8)` Object.size will call the `set_altstring_Elt_method` for every single element, materializing
