Status of Samba3 Beta3
OK I am a 2.2.8a/LDAP user and have thus far been very skeptical about making the switch to Samba3. I have seen inconclusive evidence of Beta 3's success rate from the postings since its release. So my question is... Has anybody been able to get Samba3b3 to act as complete replacement for their Windows or Samba2.2.8a PDC? How about with an LDAP backend? Is it stable and bug-free enough

When user tried to use samba, they got "Failed to open /usr/local/samba/private/secrets.tdb". Protocol for Ritmo AS-800VA
Hi, I just acquired a Ritmo AS-800VA. Unfortunately, it doesn't work out of the box with nut - so I had to do a bit of reverse engineering on the protocol to get it working. Am now posting my findings here in the hope it will get this added to the next release. There are also 1000VA and 12000VA versions that this should work with. The protocol is very similar to the megatec protocol -
