Using samba as a PDC with win2k clients
Hello Samba users, I'm trying to configure my samba server as a PDC for some Win2k machines. I'm running Red Hat 8.0 and samba-3.0.0rc4. Everything seems to be ok, when using workgroup configuration, all the shares works fine. But I cant get the Win2k clients to log in the Domain. Can not register W2K computer (WXP and W98 without problems)

SaMBa 2.2.1a in HP/UX 11.00
Hullo All I hjave a problem with SaMBa 2.2.1a with HP/UX 11.00. It seems to work fine, but after a couple hours users received a message in Windows (all 95) like that ... "There were no servers to log you into", or something like that (Win95 Brazilian Portuguese). It seems like it can't find the domain master server... Below is my smb.conf... win2k usernames with spaces
Hi all, one of the win2k clients of my network uses an ID with one space inside, e.g. "jack smith". I succeeded in creating a Linux user with such a name, but have troubles in adding him to the smb users. Any suggestion? Problem with 02 domains on a single PDC
Hi all. I have 01 Samba-LDAP Server running 02 domains on separated networks. ---------------- | SERVER | ---------------- | | | | ADMIN LABI When I try to join the ADMIN domain, the machine joins the LABI domain. Printer drivers on Samba server

Sorry to have to repost this (didn't get any response on the first post), we really need some of the fixes of the new Samba but cannot go ahead without the support for the older machines. Authentication and Joining failing after a time.
I have a Samba Domain that did migration from: 3.0.0 -> 3.0.2 -> 3.0.2a ->3.0.4 It is a very healthy machine it is running on. A heavily updated RedHat 7.2 machine.
