ext3fs and 2.4.14 kernel
Good morning, I have tried to compile a 2.4.14 kernel (because I have some trouble with the framebuffer and my Toshiba...). Thus, I have downloaded the latest kernel and the ext3 patch. I have used the .config file used for the compilation of my 2.4.13 kernel, but the compilation ends with make[1]: Quitte le répertoire `/usr/src/linux-2.4.14/arch/i386/lib' ld -m elf_i386 -T

Problem with 2.4.14 and 9.15-2414
I just upgraded to kernel 2.4.14 and applied the ext3 patch ext3-2.4-0.9.15-2414.gz. It appears (to me) that the patch breaks the loop block device module (loop.o). The problem is that the call to deactivate_page is unresolved. The routine used to be defined in swap.c. It looks like it no longer exists in 2.4.14. I'm not a kernel programmer so if I'm mistaken, sorry. I do get an

unresolved symbols in loop
Hello, i have downloaded the kernel 2.4.14 and the correspondig ext3 patch ext3-2.4-0.9.15-2414.gz. After this i extract the archiv at /usr/src, renamed the dir linux to linux-2.4.14 and made a symlink linux-2.4. I changed to the directory linux-2.4 and add the patch as decsribed on the website gunzip < ~/ext3-2.4-0.9.15-2414.gz | patch -p1. There was no error and the patch was successful.

ext3 patch files
Hi, i'd like to upgrade my kernel to 2.4.14. I've obtained the corresponding kernel patch from http://www.zip.com.au/~akpm/linux/ext3/ however when I run gunzip < ~/ext3-2.4-0.9.15-2414.gz | patch -p1 I am told that this file is not in gzip format. This is based on the file and instructions on ext3 for 2.4 site. Am I missing something? cheers Simon

making 0.0.6b a module
I have ext3 0.0.6b + 2.2.19 and cannot get ext3 to compile as a module. If I try to modularize it, or turn in off completely, the kernel build fails. Is there an easy fix for this, or is there something that I am missing? Thanks. Peter

Missing metadata on Dovecot 2.2.14, on Kolab 3.3, Centos 6.6
Hello everyone, We were trying to provision a system with Dovecot instead of another working cyrus kolab system. I am stuck with a problem with the metadata, especially when it comes to the Special Folders in Kolab 3.3, like Calenders, Tasks, etc, as well as any user created Folders. Emails work perfectly, and all the types are correct. But for example, If I try to change the type of Calenders,

gtk3 update causing havoc
On my lab systems, the automatic updates were failing because of the problems with ipod libraries from EPEL being in the way. It turns out that was a good thing, because when I "fixed" it, a massive set of packages was updated, including the new gtk3. These packages are the ones causing problems, I think. gtk3-3.22.10-4.el7.x86_64 gtk3-devel-3.22.10-4.el7.x86_64 In the release notes,
