Requesting help with lattice again
Hello, this is a request for assistance that I submitted earlier, this time with the dataset. My mistake for taking up bandwidth. I've also rephrased the question to address an additional concern. I'm working on a windows XP machine with R 2.8.1 1). I'd like a barchart (or other lattice type display) HSI ~ of the three factors (Region, Scenario and HydroState). However

MGE NMC and NutShutdownModule (and other stuff)
Hi all, some time ago I bought at discount price a NMC for managing a few computers using the programmable outlets features available on my MGE Evolution, unuseful otherwise (ATM). However, expecially for my server machine, I don't like very much the NSM client provided by MGE/Eaton and I'd rather use only NUT from my distribution. So, looking at the netxml-ups driver, I started adding

W2K3 SP1 - PERSISTENT CONNECTION(S) BUG?
After testing my W2K3 SP1 terminal server against a SAMBA server *AND* a W2K server, I have noticed the following *odd* behavior. LOGIN: Map drive letters LOGOUT: Connections are still connected. on BOTH W2K and SAMBA file servers. LOGIN: Map drive letters LOGOUT: Now you have TWO sets of connections still connected for the one user. REPEAT: For each time you repeat the above procedure, you

Numerous errors trying to authenticate samba against w2k3
My goal is to authenticate a Windows 2003 Server user from a FreeBSD 4.10 box via samba. A week ago I had this working. I then needed to verify the procedure and test on a fresh install. Now it doesn't work, despite doing the same steps (I think). I generated a Kerberos ticket on the w2k3 box and transfered it to the FreeBSD box. I used the ktutil command to incorporate the ticket into

unable to join w2k3 SP1 to samba 3 domain.
Hello, I've been trying to join w2k3 machine to samba 3 domain for a last few hours. This is strange but all I get from joining process is: The Specified User Already Exists. More than 100 machines running XP are already added to the same domain as well as Linux machines. The only problem I've got is 2003 server. This w2k3 server is quite pure however it wasn't me who has installed

W2k to W2k3 winbind enumeration issue?
I've been in the process of decommissioning a W2k domain controller and moving the whole show to a new machine with W2k3. Everything has moved along quite well except changing the samba setup to use the new system. A little background: Samba 3.0.10 on gentoo KRB5 ver 1.3.1-r1 using winbind/kerberos to integrate the samba server as an AD member server. The Samba server holds departmental

Never mind. The alarm messages are not bound to a specific outlet, but are sent to all NSM clients that are connected. Which means

Error accessing trusted w2k3 domain share
We have configured a new samba domain that is trusted by a w2k3 domain (but= =20 the samba domain doesn't trust the w2k3 domain) and the users from the samb= a=20 domain are not able to access a share in the windows server. The error they get is: 0x80070534: No Mapping Between Account Names and Security IDs Was Done. This seems to happen only for one particular share, as they were able to=20

I use the video driver for optimal performance. You can download it here: http://www.spice-space.org/download.html Maybe installing this driver on the guest will resolve your issues. Samba as W2k3 AD domain member; how to configure domain controller failover?
Dear list, I have a question how you configure Samba (configured as a W2k3 domain member) to failover to a secondary AD domain controller when the connection to the primary domain controller fails. First some info: - Windows 2003 Active directory (native mode), currently running with 2 domain controllers. - Samba (version 3.0.9) running on a RHL9 server (updated with kerberos 1.3.1-7),

net ads join fails on W2K3 server with latest MS patches
Hi All, For the past few months I've been running a SUSE 9.2 server here (mostly as an app server) which was a member of an AD domain (w2k3 domain controller.) I used winbind to enable domain members to log into the box, all was well. This week the w2k3 server had some MS security patches applied and suddenly logins became impossible, because winbind was unable to retrieve user info from the

Must digital signing be disable when connecting to W2K3 SP1 share?
Is there a more elegant way to do the following without disabling digital signing? What if I have an app requiring digital signing I need to connect to the W2K3 in the future? For explanation have the following; 1. Linux server running Samba 2.2.8a 2. Linux server running Samba 3.0.10 3. Window 2003 Server Standard SP1, not running Active Directory or as domain controller. 4. Windows XP Pro

Changed PDC IP, all hell broke lose
I had to move my RedHat 5 box acting as a PDC to a new IP address. It is running samba 3.5.10. After the move, none of my windows or linux samba clients worked anymore.
