[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Capability of Win32.DLL with ENABLE_SHARED
Good summer, all! This patch enables ENABLE_SHARED=1 to build DLL based LLVM toolchain. I have checked this on Cygwin-1.5, Cygwin-1.7, mingw(msysgit) and mingw-cross-fedora12. I can separate this patch into some parts; cleanups, adding definitions and adding rules. Any feedbacks are welcome. Have fun! ...Takumi * Pros - reduction of linking time of toolchain. - capability of -load

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Capability of Win32.DLL with ENABLE_SHARED
Hi Takumi, > Any feedbacks are welcome. > Have fun! This seems to be pretty useful addition to LLVM on windows! And it seems the only painless way to make plugins working, yay! For me the patch looks pretty good. One minor thing: could you please rename SharedDir => SharedLibDir Thanks! -- With best regards, Anton Korobeynikov Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics, Saint Petersburg

group privileges on newly created files?
Just curious, I know you can force a creation mask using "create mode", but is there any way to enforce under what group ownership a file/directory is created? My users belong to several groups, and I want new files created as owned by a specific group... Thanks in advance, -Rob

ERRSRV - ERRpadpw (Bad Password...
I am attempting to setup samba 2.2.1a on a Redhat Linux 6.2 box. When attempting to run the command: smbclient file://gondola/shareddir -U tmpuser%tmppass I am getting the error message: Bad password - name/password pair in a Tree Connect or Session Setup are invalid. As far as I can tell I have set everything up correctly. I have poured thru the docs as well as the archives of previous

DID IT! - Samba 2.2.8a+LDAP+PDC
I am so stoked I just had to share this with y'all. I just "SEAMLESSLY" migrated all of my machines and users over to my new Gentoo Linux Server. I even kept the same: domain name and old PDC NetBios name. The trickiest part was getting all of the users to keep their same profile, but I managed that by cloning the RID and Lanman/NT hashes for the user accounts. Free at last! #

Because making LLVMHello.dll requires the library LLVM.dll, but it oughta be on the way to making libs at building

Shared Folders
Good afternoon. I am having trouble trying to set up shared folders in the guest VM using VirtualBox hypervisor. No matter what configuration is defined in my XML, it never works, I mean, no shared folder is added/specifyed, then, inside the guest, when I try to mount the folder, I always get a protocol error. If I use VirtualBoxManage, I can add/specify shared folders easily and mount it with

Connecting from XP to samba shares
Hi all, This question has probably been asked and solved/dismissed several times before, but I didn't find any clear solution googling about. The problem is I have a samba server (in Mandriva LE2005) with "security=share" (this is the setting I want). There I have a shared directory I'd like to be available to anyone, provided they give the correct password (win98 style). When

Help!!!! Gettting samba core dumps
I transferred a Xen vm that was running on centos 5.7 with samba 3.6.3 to a centos 6.2 bare metal server with one E5502 and 16gig of memory. Problems accessing dirs using Konqueror...
My company's network is entirely Microsoft. They just decided to start looking into what Open Source has to offer (I'm the only "Open Source person" here) so there are a lot of questions. Anyway.... We installed Samba on a Red Hat 8.0 system. Samba was installed via the default RPM installation. This is the current smb.conf file (I created my own instead of using the

I have the following forced up mew by evil telco problem: - One IP - Homebrew LAN - portforwarding for some services. - extra PPTP/ppp layer to an internal 10.* network which mutilates DNS answers. just an idea about quality evaluation
Hello I had an idea about judging the quality of ogg vorbis (or any other lossy codec) I took a wave-file and encoded it to ogg. Then decoded ogg to wav and inverted it's phase. When mixing the original wav with the phase-inverted decoded ogg-file, any identic parts of compressed and uncompressed audio should be eliminated. Of course there's always a "rest" of sound because

Bug in WINE: Is there a chance that Crossover is free of that bug?
I use Kubuntu 6.10 with Wine 0.9.32. I installed Dreamweaver 8. Because of Bug http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7372 Dreamweaver is de facto unusable under Wine because an essential function doesn't work: Pasting into the design view from clipboard is impossible. My question: Is Crossover "technically" identic to Wine? Is there a chance that Crossover will not have a bug,
