URGENT HELP NEEDED!!! PLEASE!!
Hi, I have a big big problem. I compiled Samba 3.2.6 for Solaris 8 and 10. Environment is Windows 2003 SFU. So far it looked like everything works as expected. Under Solaris 8 i get all groups of a user. Under Solaris 10 I can only see the primary group set under the Unix Attributes Tab in W2k3. Ladies and Gentlemen, I actually encounter a problem by setting up a linux box in a network so that it can print to a samba print server that also install on a linux box. I'm running Mandrake7.2 on my machine and have samba-2.0.7 installed. The print server runs a Redhad-5.1 and runs the samba-1.9.18. 1. Is there any problem for the two version to work together? 2. if yes, an alternative

Samba 3. ldapsam.so not generated on Solaris 9 with Sun One Directory Server

date created attribute doesn't seem right
Greetings, I've setup a samba server (ver 3.0.14a-3) on debian sarge. When I copy files to the server, the 'date created' attribute is always the same value as the 'date modified' attribute. Dear all, I'm experencing a big trouble with samba and an instalation we had at my enterprise's intranet. win2k joining Samba 2.2.2 PDC problems.
I'm running FreeBSD 4.4, with Samba 2.2.2 freshly installed, with the FreeBSD Ports package to install files in correct places. I've a Win2k system tring to join the domain "FREESIDE" It will authenticate ok from the win2k command line.
