MeetMe - Annouce user join/leave without recording the name
Hi all,
I an using MeetMe and I would like to use the -i function to annouce the
join/leave of the user.
However, this require that users record their names. Is there anyway to
remove this?
I just want MeetMe to annouce somethig like "A new user has joined the
conference" and that need not to record user's name. Is there a way to
do this??

[ANNOUCE] kpartx-0.0.2
Hello,
here is the second release of kpartx : the shameless perversion of util-linux's
partx.
As before it :
1) compiles against klibc
2) read partitions table like partx
3) drives the device mapper to present the partitions bdevs
Find it at http://dsit.free.fr/kpartx-0.0.2.tar.bz2
This release adds a interesting functionality : it can now read partitions
tables from regular files,

[ANNOUCE] iproute2 update
A new version of the iproute2 utilities is available to handle the new
extensions for 2.6.7.
* Based on the last known good version of iproute2 from Alexy
* Included most of the vendor patches (except for the stupid ones).
* Got rid of lots of the glibc workarounds, I intend this to build
and run on 2.6 (and 2.4) only.
* Fixed some parsing and formatting bugs.
* Added gigabit as a rate.

access the se of a forecast
Hi everybody,
I am currently trying to forecast some double seasonal time series by using
the function dshw. I want to access the standard errors to build the
confident interval for my forecast. I am using to following code :
fit<-dshw(eem,period1=7,period2=48,h=48)
then by using summary(fit), I see that my se are contained in the vector :
$s20
but when I call fit$s20, I get NULL.

[ARM] Register pressure with -mthumb forces register reload before each call
If I'm understanding what's going on in this test correctly, what's happening is:
* ARMTargetLowering::LowerCall prefers indirect calls when a function is called at least 3 times in minsize
* In thumb 1 (without -fno-omit-frame-pointer) we have effectively only 3 callee-saved registers (r4-r6)
* The function has three arguments, so those three plus the register we need to hold the

[LLVMdev] Request for merge: GHC/ARM calling convention.
Hello,
first of all: one of the LLVM 3.0 new feature was a support for GHC
specific calling convention on ARM platform. It looks like this support
was merged just into 3.0 branch, specifically it appeared in 3.0 RC2.
Anyway, I hope this is just a mistake or omission that such support was
merged only into 3.0 and not also into HEAD. I've just found it by
testing LLVM 3.1 with GHC 7.4.2 and

Questions on converting to ConfBridge
I'm looking at what would be involved in converting from MeetMe to
ConfBridge and there seems to be a lot of missing administrative things,
but I hope I'm just missing it. We all know about the missing realtime
linkage. That's a major nuisance, but can be worked around.
More serious is that the CLI command to display users in a ConfBridge
don't show the caller ID information, so

Tables with Graphical Representations
Hi useRs -
I was wondering if anyone out there can tell me where to find R-code
to do mixes of tables and graphics. I am thinking of something
similar to this:
http://yost.com/information-design/powerpoint-corrupts/
or like the excel routines people are demonstrating:

My aim is to provide small graphics to illustrate

make config update-rc.d
On Debian the Asterisk Makefile does
/usr/sbin/update-rc.d asterisk start 10 2 3 4 5 . stop 91 2 3 4 5 .;
which results in a /etc/rc2.d/S10asterisk being written.
I think S10 is too early.
bind9 : S15
mysql : S19
zaptel: S20
ntp : S23
What bothers me most is that mysql is not up when asterisk
starts. That's a bad thing if there are #execs in your config
files and if the scripts rely on

Hi Karel,
I understand this patch has already been merged (to 3.0), so don't
take my question as stopping the merge to head, I'm just making sure I
got it right... The rest looks correct.

I have some data 'myData' in wide form (attached at the end), and

3) Reference: within-subject factor (2 levels: Me / She)
4) F: within-subject factor (2 levels: F1 / F2)

ANNOUCEMENT: Tool to combine call recording into a single 'stereo' file
Figured this might be interesting to some on the list. I've written a
small tool to combine the 2 res_monitor created wav files into a single
compressed (IMA ADPCM 8KB/s) stereo file. During playback, you can
select the party to listen to by fiddling with the audio balance.
Email me off-list if you would like a copy.
Cheers.

Annoucement in MeetMe and segmentation fault
Hi!
I have MeetMe working fine except I thought that if I used the "i"
option, there would be some kind of announcement made upon a new meetme
person joining a conference. Is that correct? Is it the "i" option?
Because I'm not hearing an annoucement when a new person joins the
conference.
Also, if I combine the "i" with the "x" option, there is
