smaba &ldap
Hello,
I am running a samba 3.0.32 under fedora core 9.
I only try to authenticate users against a ldap server. Of course this
server knows the encrypted password as microsoft does. I entered the
ldap password using smbpasswd to query into the ldap. After this, I just
obtain a message like "you don't have rights to ...".
What errors do I make ???
Any ideas will be appreciated

"hide dot files" parameter
Hi,
I put "hide dot files = yes" in [homes] section.
I don't understand why I always see files beginning with a dot when I
open a session on this server.
Have a good day

authentification problem (2.2.8)
Hello Friends,
I want to connect "agly" WXPPro to a unix 5.8 machine via samba 2.2.8.
I use "encrypt passwords = yes" and, of course, I modified registry windows.
It doesn't work ! Below a transcript of session "log.agly".
Many thanks for your help.

file includes.h
Hello,
this message concerns alos the samba team. There is a very little problem.
Under solaris 8.
I downloaad the source code and ./configure is ok. But the make causes an
error easy to correct :
In the file include/includes.h at line 830 it is necessary to modify it :
previous line : #include "popt.h"
now : #include "popt/popt.h"

trouble with accentuated characters in \title tag in Rd file
Dear R-devel-list,
Since I had no answer on the R-help-list
(http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lang.r.general/284539) I try to
present my trouble on the R-devel-list. I am sure in the past (one year
ago) to succeed in putting accentuated characters in the \title tag in a
.Rd file. Recently, creating a package, I have NA in the title function
instead of the text containing the

How to deal with accentuated chars in 0.10.8?
I''m startin to use Ferret and acts_as_ferret.
I need to use something like EuropeanAnalyzer
(http://olivier.liquid-concept.com/fr/pages/2006_acts_as_ferret_accentuated_chars).
By example, if the user search by "gonzalez" you can find documents taht
contents the term "gonz?lez" (gonzález)
The EuropeanAnalyzer is based on Ferret::Analysis::TokenFilter,

render :partial, accentuated characters and Ajax preview
Hi all,
I added a textile preview Ajax - 1 - button to an edit page, and
accentuated characters now show up corrupted (but only in the preview
area)
As
- they are displayed correctly in the rest of the page,
- they are still correct when they reach the ''preview'' controller
, I guess "render :partial" is the culprit.
Is there a way to tell render how to render

trouble with accentuated characters in \title tag in Rd file
Hi,
I have a weird issue when creating a package with latin1 encoding.
All works fine except the fact that I can't put non-ASCII characters
in the title tag. There is NA in the place of the title in the pdf file
of the documentation.
I can put non-ASCII characters in the other tags (description, details...).
I well verified that I put in the DESCRIPTION file the line :
