Setting the smb.conf parameter "time server = yes" will cause Samba to advertise itself as a time server in the browse list through nmbd. hi all, I am having some problems with getting winbind to work correctly with Solaris 9. When I change nsswitch.conf to say passwd: files winbind group: files winbind I can make the server work serving out smb shares to W2k domain users, but then I can't logon using local accounts.
