Where can I find a patch for ext3 fs for kernel-2.4.2. Currently I'm using RH7.1 I dont want to upgrade to RH7.2!!! I just want to applay the ext3 patch for kernel-2.4.2 compile and use it. Thanks in advance! Sanat

I've taken my RH7.1 system, rebuild kernel (2.4.9 with ext3 patches) and followed the ext3 instructions to install. Everything seems to work OK but - df -k doesn't list the ext3 partition (my root partition). Is this a known problem ? I am very happy (for you guys anyway) to report that this was NOT infact caused by ext3, but rather a very very untimely memory failure that occured during my convertion from ext2 to ext3.
