No connection in DomUs with network-route
Hi, I would like to know if somebody can point me out how to configure several DomUs in a private LAN (for example 192.168.100.0/24) and one DomU with two interfaces (one - 192.168.100.0/24 and two - internet). So far I have enabled in xend-config.sxp: (network-script network-route) (vif-script vif-route) My config files have: /mnt/VM/1.cfg:vif = [''ip=192.168.1.3'']

ISC DHCP failover
Anybody have any experience with setting up dhcpd in failover mode between two servers? I set this up on a couple of servers, and it seems to be working, but I don't think it is working "right". It appears both servers are replying to all requests (which for renewals works okay because they both give the same address, but new requests get two different responses). I thought that

snat packet going out a bridge
Hi List, I am running into a problem where I have 2 interfaces bridged with and ip address assigned. I have another interface in which traffic has ingress traffic that needs to go out the bridged interface. I am trying unsuccessfully to SNAT the traffic leaving the bridge interface to its assigned address. # brctl show xbrdg0 bridge name bridge id STP enabled interfaces

SIP phone registering problem
I am clearly doing something ridiculously wrong. Running Asterisk 0.7.2 on FreeBSD 5.1, I have SIP soft phones which are unable to register. They keep trying and then time out. With the sip debug on in Asterisk nothing is logged. Here is the trace from one of the phones (kphone): (192.168.100.13 is kphone, 192.168.100.3 is Asterisk) sipclient: sending: 21:47:45.454

messaging problems
I'm having trouble sending messages to my Win2000 and XP clients. Everything worked with Samba 2.2.2, and now with Samba 3.0 (CVS) it fails. Below are two trails, the first works (sending to the Samba server) and the second fails. (Also, how do I get rid of the upcase.dat, lowcase.dat, and valid.dat errors?) Thanks!! -Paul penguin# echo "TEST" | smbclient -M penguin incorrect size

Samba4 Internal DNS - CNAME not working
Hello, It seems Samba4 is having problems with CNAME records. I am seeing the same behavior as mentioned in the thread below. Is there any ETA on a fix for this? This is identical to the problem with MX records. This is currently a much bigger problem than the MX records. I appreciate any assistance.
