error loading meetme module
Hi all, I'm configuring meetme in asterisk but no luck. I dont have a digium card, so based on the wiki, i have to install the zaptel driver and enable the ztdummy on it. I compiled, install the module and enable it on the module.conf. When i tried to start the asterisk, asterisk wont start because of the error in loading the meetme module. %U bug
I have been unable to find any indication as to the scope of the %U bug. I have been looking in the docs, etc., and there is only an indication that there IS a bug, fixed in 2.2.7. Can anyone tell me what it is, or where to read what it is? I couldn't find the SAMBA_2_2 CVS log as was suggested -- I don't use CVS. Thanks. ---- _ _ _ _ ___ _ _ _ |Y#| | | |\/| | \ |\ | | | Ryan

ldap users would like to change their own (smb)passwords
Dear Samba list, I am using samba with ldap. All works fine. Now I want my users to change their own smbpasswd's. That only works when : domain admin groups = myusers and secrets.tdb is set to 660 beside this smb.conf must at least be readable by the myusers_group. Otherwise I get this : /usr/local/samba-2.2.7/bin/smbpasswd -L -a bert Failed to open

pre-/postexec in printers-section
Hi, after updating our printserver from Samba V2.0.6 to V2.2.7 I encountered the following problem. Samba does not execute the (root) pre- and postexec within the printers section. If you are using these command in another section everything works fine. Does anybody know if these command are not supported in the printers section anymore? smb.conf: [global] ... load printers = yes lpq cache

HELP: Connections dropping whilst processes increasing.
I'm running Samba 2.0.4b on a E450 running Solaris 7 which acts as a diskspace server for students, normally everything runs quite smoothly with numbers of connections in the region of about 800/900. Then every now and again students will start seeing their connections being lost and others will not get a connection when they log in, looking at the system shows no obvious problems, except

File Systems - Which one to use?
We are looking at implementing a Linux box running samba in the near future with about 1TB of disk online. The purpose of this box will be for basic file and printer sharing needs. I am doing research on the different journaling file systems avaible in RH 7.3 and up (ext3, reiserFS, and JFS) and was wondering if anyone has had any real world experience with them (mostly reiserFS and JFS) and
