The server acts as a file server for 30 workstations (Win2000) using an aplicattion that combines clipper (with .dbf files) and delphi (uses paradox .px and .db). Our Samba file server has a share with an visual basic application, there are 8 XP clients working with this share. The problem is that connections are very slow when accessing mdb databases... we are using MS Access ODBC to connect to the database on the samba server.
