Version 2.2.6 and above are not able to store big files over 2GB
Hello, when I store a file biger than 2GB to a samba server version 2.2.5 everythink works fine. But when I do that with a server version 2.2.6 or 2.2.7 the saving fails on the 2GB limit. The problem can be seen with windowsclients or with smbclient (any version > 2.2.5). I did some debuging and find that the lseek64 fails. But I didn't find the reason. Regards Klaus Ethgen

procmail deliver and envelope-to
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello, first of all, please reply private as I am not subscribed to the list. But if this question takes to much traffic I can subscribe. My problem is that I have to use procmail (as it can call external programs) which finally calls deliver. Reopening sqlite3 db
Hello, I am not sure if I trigger a bug and if so it could also be in ruby sqlite3 backend. However, maybe I do something totally wrong. I have the following part in puppet.conf: [master] storeconfigs = true dblocation = /var/lib/puppet/state/clientconfigs.sqlite3 dbadapter = sqlite3 Now every time a client (agent in puppet speak) is run I get one more connection to the

Collecting _all_ ssh keys
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA512 Hello, I read and find a way (well, there seems to be several equal implementations) to collect the ssh keys of machines. However they all give only the choice to choose between the key formats. But is there a way to collect both keys of a machine, the rsa _and_ the dss key (and maybe the rsa1 too)? I didn''t find a way to solve this as

Cups..works on LM8.1, LM8.2 but not LM9
I've been trying every combination possible to get CUPS on LM9 to print to a shared printer on a windows machine. On setting up the printer in printerdrake, On LM8.1 it worked first time. On LM8.2 with the same settings it worked first time. On LM9 it just sits there and laughs at me, with the same settings as LM8.1 and LM8.2. And how do i remove a default printer it thinks it has but

Hi all, in my settup i decided to set mail_home in 10-mail.conf, and let dovecot do the hashing to a 2-level directory structure. mail_location = mdbox:~/mdbox:ALT=/altstorage/%h/mdbox mail_home = /vmail/%1Mu/%2.1Mu/%u In my userdb ist homedirectory not set and everythink works as expected, except when i use rawlog i get only logs in ~/dovecot.rawlog if home is set in userdb. [LLVMdev] -O4 limitations in llvm/llvm-gcc-4.2 2.5?
I've had better luck compiling all of pymol 1.1r2 with -O4 on darwin9. Everythink links and there appears to be no regressions in the resulting code. I take it that LTO in llvm 2.5 is still limited to dead code elimination, correct? Will LTO ever be extended to inlining across files as well as constant-folding and global data allocation optimizations? Or does the reliance on gcc-4.2 as the

works in R-1.1.1 but not in R-development; why?
Dear All, A library (PHYLOGR) that passed the usual tests in R-1.1.1 gives errors with R-devel; my (mis?)understanding of scoping rules is that it should have worked in both. The problems seem related to using the name of the data frame for extracting weights or subsets within a function call. The problems can be reproduced as follows: ********************** datai <- data.frame( y =

swapping on centos 5.1
Hi all, I used to use centos 4.5 on an AMD 4800+ with 2GIG ram. Now I use centos 5.1 on AMD 6400+ with 4GIG RAM. The system responsiveness is different between the two. I noticed that centos 5.1 seems to be swapping programs out of memory at times resulting in slowness (perceived by me). I played with swappiness (/proc/sys/vm/) setting to 10, then 1 then 0. Still resulted in the same perceived

2GB limit patch
Hi all, I was reading the discussion about this 1.3.0pre1 release on HydrogenAudio and someone linked an old thread in which one patched FLAC 1.2.1 to support WAV-files larger then 2GB. It might be worth investigating: http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/?showtopic=84014#entry725304
