I'm just trying to install microsoft encarta 99 using wine (some august 2001 snapshot), but it always fails complaining about special characters in the name of the installation directory, although it is the default path and even C:\encarta won't work. Any ideas how this can be solved?

I was thinking of putting a slightly bigger HD on my Linux server and would like to know the easiest way. I know that ghost works well on FAT32 partitions, but does it work on Ext3 partitions too? Id rather not reinstall if I don't have to, so any and all suggestions are appreciated. TIA Kev

This alone is a massive task for me as I am a one man band. Samba made massive changes not allowing NT style domains anymore in the 4.10 branch.
