rsync and old novel server
Hello,
I've set-uped a Linux server in a small office, around 10 users, there is an
old novel server, running version 3.12. My task was to establish an
alternative for the old server, for the case It suddenly didn't feel like
working anymore (you see, it's a Pentium Pro 200, it outlived itself at
least a few times over).
So basically, everybody have access to it using IPX (

follow up to novell file issue and a question about "fstype"
Ok, I've done some further research into this one:
It appears that installing the Novell client on a Win machine has the
effect of replacing the file copy command with one from Novell. It also
seems that the NTFS filesystem has spaces for extra metadata, and the the
new Novell command is using those to store it's ACL. I"m guessing that
this metadata is not storable via Samba,

Lists of tables and conditional statements
Hi R-users,
I have a list containing numeric tables of differing row length. I want to make a new list that contains only rows from tables with a "Sum" greater than 3, plus the names of each table. I was wondering whether there is an elegant way to do this using apply of related functions as this list has many thousands of such tables.
Here is an example of the list

Is there anyway I can coerce LLVM into performing the following
transformation?

Hello everone,
In my Company we are going through a network redesign and Planning to
retire our Novel edirectory, and Novel Servers and replace them with Samba4

State of llgo in monorepo?
Hi all,
the monorepo contains a Go frontend called 'llgo' (in the llgo/ top
level folder). It apparently hasn't been active since 2017 and before
that it wasn't very active either (there were 13 commits in 2016
apparently, most of it minor fixes).
I would propose that we remove it from the monorepo for the following reasons:
* It is apparently unmaintained.
* It only supports a

users migration from Linux to W2K
Hi All,
We are migrating users from Linux (Mandrake 9.0) and Novel NetWare 6.0 to
Windows 2000 Active Directory. We have migrated successfully user from Novel
Netware to Windows 2000 but facing problem in Linux Users. Do you know any
utility which can help us out? So, we can move users IDs and password to
Windows 2000 active Directory instead of manually creating more 900 users in
W2K AD.
Thanks

AD on 2003R2 NT_STATUS_NO_SUCH_USER
Dear Help,
We are in the process of setting up a new domain using Active Directory on
Windows Server 2003R2. One of our goals was to use Active Directory for
authentication on our AIX box (running version 6.1). I was able to successfully
set up Kerberos, and the LDAP client to connect to our AD server so that you can
now log in to the AIX box with users found in Active Directory. However, no

Yep - delete it. If someone wants it back they can resurrect it from
version control & explain why it's worth adding back in.

Samba and /etc/shadow.
Dear mailing-list!
I have Samba 2.0.6 on a Redhat 6.1 linux box.
How can I make samba use the /etc/shadow file
for authenticating users?
Reading the archives I assumed there should be
a compile-time option I should set, but I found
no such option.
