similar to: Trouble with Samba/RH 7.3

I'm trying to connect to swat but can't. Just installed Samba 2.2.2-5 and edited /etc/services, even though I'm running Redhat 7.3 and use xinetd. /etc/xinetd/swat exists.... but I still cannot connect to http://localhost:901. Why??? Thanks for assist.

Perhaps someone answered this but I missed it. I'm still havign this problem and can't figure this one out on my own. Does anyone have any suggestions? We were running samba v2.2.x with the 'security = server' option and everything worked wonderfully. We upgraded to samba 3.0.10 with the same configuration. Everything still works but it's very very slow. Opening a file can take 15 to 30 seconds or more. I changed the security option to 'user' and everything is fast again. Clearly something has changed between 2.x.x and 3.x.x
