NonParametric Anova
Dear Sir,
I would like to ask whether there is any tool in R, developed for the function of non parametric Anova, where the non parametric analysis is able to compute the p-value for interaction as well (similar to Anova)? If not, would sir like to suggest any of the other statistical software around which would have this tool?

xen snapshotting status
Hi, List,
I found "Full-VM snapshotting" feature in xen 4.3 and xen 4.4 feature list,
but no one takes it. What''s the current status? Is there anyone working on
that? Any progress?

need to remove kernel load text..
Hello, Is there anyway to remove the bootup kernel text with pxelinux? (blank screen or logo image till X is loaded) I tried using LPP (linux progress patch), But it only seems to work with lilo only. Im trying to creat a kiosk type inviorment I dont want users to see the kernel load.. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you..

I am struggling with the simplest thing, I think! I am starting with a fresh config file from the 20020605 wine distro and trying to get the ARS Remedy User win32 based software running. How to use in KDE
Hello,
I'm new to KDE 3 and Wine. Now, what I like is that now wine creates
desktop icons on demand. The only problem i got is that i want to run
native dll with the application, because otherwise the application won't
work.I can do it using the bash, but i woud like to be a bit more lazy
:) Now, how can I do that? I have tried simply adding the --managed
-dll command in the execute

I'm doing a very similar project. I'm not an audio expert, but here's my take on the subject. 22KHz will take more space, but it is higher quality, and would probably be better if you ever decide to put them on CD (44.1KHz, stereo is the required format for CD Audio).

Write security over Samba share?
I have RedHat 7.2 Workstation that is using Samba to attach to a RedHat 6.0 Server share. I have inserted the following entry in /etc/rc.d/rc.local on the workstation:
mount -t smbfs //office/Shared /mnt/shared -o username=xxxx,password=xxxx
Access is fine, but I am unable to write to the share. I have Chmod-ed, Chown-ed and Chgrp-ed the share so that it is completely available with no

I was wondering if it is possible for xapian to read a password-protected
PDF. Searches in the archives and google had yield 0 results. I also tried
looking at the source code but I could not find the specific one related to

[PATCH v2 OPW] libxl: change most remaining LIBXL_LOG to LOG in libxl_qmp.c
Coding style has recently been changed for libxl. The convenience
macro LOG() has been introduced, and invocations of the old macro
LIBXL__LOG() are to be replaced with it. Change occurences of the
old macro to the new one in the functions qmp_handle_response()

structuralObjectClass and smbldap-tools
Sorry, if this has been dealt with before, but I couldn't find it.
I tried installing openldap 2.2 + samba 3. Currently I only have one
install of openldap 2.0 and samba 2.2 running.
Now, it all looks quite good, but the smbldap-tools do not add the
necessary structuralobjectClass entries, so using the tools fails.
I was able to manually change the first populate - which could be
exported
