I can join a machine to the domain and I get an entry in ldap one in ou=computers and one in ou=users (as normal). Everything looks fine until you try to login to the win2k box. Hello. Whenever I attach a 2000 Pro workstation to a Samba server, a directory is created under the user's home directory called "profile", and the local profile syncs with this directory. Hi, I'd like to ask you what do you limit Desktops syncing in case users put large files on them, e.g. films. Downloading / uploading such large files can generate lots of unnecessary traffic.
