Setup is:- Samba 2.2.8a Debian Woody LPRng printing HP Laserjet 4 plus printer Windows NT 4 clients Printing is set up using a print$ share and spoolss, with the driver on the server. All users connected to this printer have their machines set to UK regional settings, and the document defaults and printer properties in the printer driver setup

I'm solve my problem, but not have a idea how or why this solve. I recompliled the dovecot without support to Postgres ans SQLite3 and LDAP. I was configure Mysql support only and all work fine. After trying to get WinXP (Pro) to try and find my domain so I can log on I've finally done it, but now when I try and join my WinXP client to the domain, windows asks me to enter the username and password of an account with permission to join the domain. Now which account would this be?? root doesn't work, neither do my other samba users. Do I have to create another user or something?

Before I play around with this again in 1.2.1, regexten is still essentially broken, correct? The misconception seems to be that it allows you to execute a command upon registration from a SIP UA. Even the O'Reilly TFOT book erroneously states that this is what it is for. After reading the developer discussion though, it definitely seems to be broken. Is it fixed yet? Doug.

I now have a machine configured as a domain controller authenticating all windows users via openLDAP. openLDAP is also authenticating all of our linux users. Hi all, one of the win2k clients of my network uses an ID with one space inside, e.g. "jack smith". I succeeded in creating a Linux user with such a name, but have troubles in adding him to the smb users. Any suggestion?
